It was ashame what happened to Steve Clark. I still think Ronnie's best music came when Vivian was apart the band. I don't know if the sound of the time left Campbell behind or visa versa.but Craig Goldy had the stage precedence and sound that seemed to fit the last half of the 80s. Goldy probably could have played for Ratt and nobody would have noticed LOL ..... All the best.
