You gotta check out "She's Mine" recorded by the Liverpool Five in 1965 to hear the same bass riff used here. It's on Yu Tube and of course it was even BEFORE the Blues Magoos " You Aint Seen Nothing Yet".However this DP version is still fabulous .

Roger Glover (Rock Family Trees docu re drink enhanced writing session) - "What shall we write about then? eh dunno...Black Night don't feel too bright...yeah that'll do!" And wham you have Purple's biggest UK hit single. Joking aside good song with a memorable (allbeit nicked from Ricky Nelson's Summertime) riff. The live encore version of the song from their Made In Japan gigs is well worth checking out if you haven't already.

Some bands are starting to be cut out of youtube : Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd amongst others .This can´t go on.
Copy and put this in your channel if you´re against the youtube censorship.( This isn´t an atempt of revolution lol but this bullshit can´t go on)
