  • thumbs up if u think comments like these r retarded

  • gootecks is like: what the hell are they talking about

  • I m anwsering in my mind when i hear the interviewer asking daigo questions.

    i just don't know why...lol

  • they need to make a Daigo character already XD

  • lol look at Daigo's hand at 1:06

  • This is so funny. He is being interviewed as if he won a piano competition. And the answers are even funnier..."I practiced 5 hours every day".

  • For someone who plays SF as much as Daigo, he is skinny as hell.

  • yea ud think hed be 200 lbs heavier

  • well his motor-skills are likely as good as they are due in part to having a good diet.

  • I think he plays Street Fighter, he's not supermodel.

  • anywhere i can see the match video?

  • its almost painful to listen to that translator

  • then gootecks threw his stick at daigo cuz he was jealous.

  • I didn't know Gootecks did interviews.

  • bison is balrog in japan.

  • That's because they have switched names in Japan bro

  • lol. gootecks could not end the interview without asking for tip xD.

  • yeah gootecks asked for the tip on how to be as good as daigo

  • The fact that Daigo acknowledged Justin's Balrog as being even better than the pro ones in Japan, shows that they will actually have good chances for SBO this year. Anyone knows how the SBO qualifiers work for US players? I guess Justin, being the #1 player in USA will captain a team for America? Will he be choosing his own partner or what?

It'll be interesting to see Justin in SBO, his attention seeking antics, his character selection (but no switching in SBO!) will be fun to watch!

  • horrible translation.

Are there noone that can speak ENglish and Japanese decently?

  • Translation is different from interpretation. The interpreter tends to get stressed out because he needs to remember what was said, and decide on how to convey the message on the spot with no external aid.

And I'm not sure if Kuni's a professional interpreter, and perhaps the background noise level is a problem as well -- you notice that he kept asking for the question to be repeated. It probably sounded so much better in this clip after "special touches" to make it presentable to us viewers.

  • I wished all the pros still played ST. That's my fav. SF 4 is just alright.

  • Damn! That's Kuni!? Did not expect him to be an older man. I guess I always had the idea of teen to mid twenties players playing SF.

  • u r 20 years late dude XD... that was the time of younger ppl playing a lot SF

  • hes been on the game since ever man

  • 上級者の真似はウメハラの真似、

    つまり課題の一つに「日本語を覚える」を入れてみてはどうだろうか

  • Daigo is indeed a legend (not taking anything away from Justin either, who's also an all time great).

  • I agree. The funny thing is as amazing as Daigo is right now, he'll continue to improve from this point forward (just like everyone else). I can't imagine what levels players will take SF4 to when EVO 2010 begins. I give much respect to both Daigo and Justin for their performance yesterday. Hopefully, someone will interview Justin Wong as well. I would to like to hear his comments on the matches.

  • Good interview Gootecks

I like how Gootecks called Boxer Balrog, and then the translator had to think a sec before he changed it to Bison

  • Look at how daigo eyes up gootecks 15-17 secs and then looks away

  • Goootecks :D
