The fact that Daigo acknowledged Justin's Balrog as being even better than the pro ones in Japan, shows that they will actually have good chances for SBO this year. Anyone knows how the SBO qualifiers work for US players? I guess Justin, being the #1 player in USA will captain a team for America? Will he be choosing his own partner or what?
It'll be interesting to see Justin in SBO, his attention seeking antics, his character selection (but no switching in SBO!) will be fun to watch!
Translation is different from interpretation. The interpreter tends to get stressed out because he needs to remember what was said, and decide on how to convey the message on the spot with no external aid.
And I'm not sure if Kuni's a professional interpreter, and perhaps the background noise level is a problem as well -- you notice that he kept asking for the question to be repeated. It probably sounded so much better in this clip after "special touches" to make it presentable to us viewers.
I agree. The funny thing is as amazing as Daigo is right now, he'll continue to improve from this point forward (just like everyone else). I can't imagine what levels players will take SF4 to when EVO 2010 begins. I give much respect to both Daigo and Justin for their performance yesterday. Hopefully, someone will interview Justin Wong as well. I would to like to hear his comments on the matches.
thumbs up if u think comments like these r retarded

For someone who plays SF as much as Daigo, he is skinny as hell.

well his motor-skills are likely as good as they are due in part to having a good diet.

I wished all the pros still played ST. That's my fav. SF 4 is just alright.

Damn! That's Kuni!? Did not expect him to be an older man. I guess I always had the idea of teen to mid twenties players playing SF.

Daigo is indeed a legend (not taking anything away from Justin either, who's also an all time great).

Good interview Gootecks
I like how Gootecks called Boxer Balrog, and then the translator had to think a sec before he changed it to Bison
