I used to wear contacts just to have a different look and one day I got a scratched cornea. OMG that was the WORST pain ever!! The doctor cussed me out for wearing them without a prescription and he said I coukd have gone blind, so if you do wear contacts, be careful.

Those are the exact color and brand i use...freshlook color blends in brown..they look the most natural...i have a perscription also...yeah honey does look crazy i used to wear them and they are too much so i switched to brown. and yes ordering online is way way cheaper =)

The Acuvue 2 Colors are nice as well. I wear these in Honey on a regular basis. These don't tend to cause problems with your peripheral vision.

I used to own a pair of Freshlook lenses in amethyst, Loved them but they used to shift on my eyes.  So I switched to Acuvue. My color of choice is chestnut brown. It's nothing dramatic (as I find most colors from acuvue make me look demonic lol) just a subtle change.

I am so glad someone else understands that I as an African American wearing colored contacts is just for a change (the same way that some people change their hair color) and not me trying to be someone that I'm not. I have been wearing color contacts off/on for the past 10 years and since I wear the Freshlook color blends they are subtle enough with my skin tone that people don't know what's different about me they just that there is something. I think it's funny when they try to guess!!
