Your use of a variety of lighting techniques was appreciated; I must say that I did enjoy the effects of over-exposure on certain clips, such as 2:14. I find that it almost creates a silhouette appearance in certain parts, not to mention it separates it from the original “Physical” video. I also enjoyed the rotating colour lamp, certainly a welcome addition to the clips.

The group dancing was choreographed decently, and you got the majority of the motions together with the actors, although there were a few parts when I found the actors to be a 1/20 of a second off or so. Although overall, for a budget video it was far from terrible.

On the negative side, please notice that at 0:32 the soundtrack skips directly into the chorus, when Ms. Newton-John sings "Let's Get Physical". The error here is that you skipped out on an entire 4 lines of the previous part, which certainly is a major letdown.

You also have a very misleading title for this video; the song is entitled "Physical", not "Let's Get Physical".

I have also noticed that a fair portion of the actors in this video are female. Now it is important that you realize that in the original video, every actor (Aside from Ms. Newton-John) is male. The importancy for them being male is that Ms. Newton-John is looking for a man, and realizes that the only men that she is compatible with is the more obese type, for obvious homosexuality reasons.

Also, please note that many of these objects and settings that were used while making this video (Such as the sun glasses with the thick white bezel around the lenses worn by the woman at 1:03) would not have been popular during the early 1980s period. Also look at the skateboard at 3:20, skateboards were popularized during 1986, not 1981 which is presumably the time that this video is supposed to take place, considering that the original video was produced during that year.

Overall, I would give your video a 3 ½ out of 5. A few editing techniques as well as your lighting were spot on, and your choreographed dancing was relatively precise.

Although, the soundtrack cuts were not appreciated, and the lack of a plot (Such as in the original video) certainly had a hard impact on the video. Not to mention, the video’s title was extremely misleading, I felt as if I was Rickroll’d. Another note for the future that I would like to make is that if you’re making a video placed in a previous time period, please get your facts straight. Aside from that, the video was wonderful.
