wow is this in 2011 or all time if its all time Nolan ryan is numer 1 i mean 7 career no hitters 5,000 strikeouts, everyone chooses by htere own opinion you should look at stats
Of course, ranking them by solid numbers causes lots of people to call your list bullshit. I think it is well done and these people are functioning on hindsight. For example, in hindsight, Carp doesn't belong due to age and slight lack of consistency. Or Halladay is probably #1. But hey man WELL DONE LIST. I would recommend making a "TIER" based list. For example:
If this list included some "candidates" that would be nice. Such as Greinke, Oswalt, maybe Ubaldo. Also, I noticed it is compiled based on lots of consistency factors. Such as, Halladay is damn consistent and so is Waino, Sabathia, Carp. Because of consistency, that is probably why Ubaldo isn't on it. 1 year of top 5 performance doesn't qualify him.
@zemiska definetley a yankees fan.... thats what my name says. im a diehard phillies fan... but im not an idiot phillies fan, the yankees have the pitching, if mariano rivera had the stamina to be a starter hed be a 300 game winner easy
1) Roy Halladay 2) Cliff Lee 3) Tim Lincecum 4) Johan Santana 5) CC Sabathia 6) Felix Hernandez 7) Mariano Rivera 8) Chris Carpenter 9) Adam Wainwright 10) Ubaldo Jimenez 11) Jon Lester 12) Josh Johnson 13) Josh Beckett 14) Justin Verlander 15) Dan Haren
@MLBPhils no. ok im gonna from 1 to 10 just cuz its easier. 1.Ubaldo Jimenez 2.Josh Johnson 3.Adam Wainwright 4.David Price 5.Cliff Lee 6.Roy Halladay 7.Tim Lincecum 8.Mariano Rivera 9.Jon Lester 10.CC Sabathia (Felix 11th) 4.
@rays3austin14 he's been dominant in past years. His cutter his almost unhittable, but he is aging. Maybe he shouldn't be there but in the top 5 definetley. It was tough. Ubaldo Jimenz should be on here too!
Dear stupid
Johan santana is nothing compared to cc. If they were to have yanks and mets and the two starters were cc and johan cc would win no question

@EightAvalanche i actually competley agree. ill make another one like that. ill make 3 tiers with 4 or 5 pitchers each. so 12-15 pitchers is good
