Are you trying to make yourself look like an idiot? There is no achievement for killing General. It is linked with killing Yogg "The Descent into Madness". As far as running around...when we killed General, there was not even a strategy to killing him yet. It was a lot of trying different things and pulling shit out of our ass. As you can see I still managed to pull #1 on the damage meter with how much "running" around I was doing.

rly great video man :)...i respect the ppl who do the first server in any boss...we have killed vezax and i know that is a hard fight so that makes the first server cooler..just 1 question man...u said that when u killed him there were no tacts for him...ensidia killed him the 3rd day that ulduar was out and they ''published' the tacts...i m not judging u i m just wondering..

Well only thing we really knew when we killed him was he put a dot on people that healed him and the vapors gave you mana back (we didn't even know how at first) and that the shadow crash was a dps buff. Other than that we didn't really know like how the encounter was supposed to go.

If you read above he says what is is. The buff is from a shadow crash that General throws at ranged.

You're fucking terrible. Misery is required to be hit capped and misery is not applied until you cast vamp touch, shadow word pain or mind flay. Therefore I had a 3% chance to miss that Vamp Embrace.

no no you get a buff....the black shit i'm standing in gives you haste and dmg buff. also it reduces the mana cost of all your spells.

Why does the achievement not show in your UI or in the guild chat log?

There is no achievement for just killing General. The achievement is paired with Yogg, that's why it didn't show up. "The Decent into Madness"

That's a pretty slick setup, what addons are those? I can see quartz and ag unit frames, but how do you get your floating combat text like that? And what is that debuff timer? It looks like quartz too, but in the most recent version it seems it's not configurable the way you have it.

Quartz, Pitbull (not ag), Dotimer, and MikScrollingBattleText....that­'s basically it, the rest of the addons are just side addons for little things. The combat text is very customizable to how you want it to be, and the dot-timer is pretty straight forward. Pitbull took me awhile to get it the way I wanted but I think it looks nice now.
