these videos are great.. ive taken 5-6 lessons, and the person teaching me never taught me scales... great for hand dexterity and picking... both of which i currently suck at lol

@ouird because usually people who want to learn to play don't want to start off with the "boring" stuff they want to just learn to play songs right away .. so most teachers never even teach scales they just teach chords and rhythms

@GirlyGirls432 You see, when you play the scale in the same key your backing track is in, Your able to solo perfecty using scales. Try in out, Start with the root note "A" and play the scale on a backing track which is also in the key of "A". Hope it helped
