Hi there, love the fishing videos, i've recently bought myself a 10 ft boat and have been considering having a go for the Char, do you know of any good books and dvd's i can get my hands on to help me on my way, i also go on Coniston, although i've only fished for the pike, perch and eels before. A few years ago when me and a couple of friends went up my mate caught a Rainbow, i presume it must have come down from Yew Tree Tarn. do you still fish there, and are you local to the lakes.
@MyHowdydo check out falkus and buller's freshwater fishing and ron greer's ferox trout and arctic charr for some not much info. my vids are probably the only ones about. fishing has been poor for a few years so get there in may fish hard and you might get lucky
