I had terrible seats (section 227) but the show was outstanding anyway! Absolutely no regrets, best performance I've ever been to.

thanks for the post. hard to believe we were there 9 days ago since it is still fresh in my mind. How do these guys play for 3 hours 2 out of 3 nights? One of the best rock shows if not the best I have seen!! (really good sound quality-what are u using)

@oneleggedMatador believe it or not, it's a flip. all of my concert related posts are from the flip. i was lucky this night, there was barely any distortion on the recording.

Thanks for this great post! I was on the floor directly between you and Dave when he was out front. Stood 10-feet from the stage. Also went to DC to fight some foo on Friday, 11-11-11. Great show there, too with special guest Bob Mould (Husker Du, Sugar) joining the band for Dear Rosemary and Breakdown (Tom Petty cover.) Charlotte audience was better!

Looks like you were close to where I was. This was one of the best shows I have ever seen, and I have seen some pretty heavy hitters. Great post!

@GreasyRabbit1975 i'm right there with you...all the way back to floyd in the 80s, janes in the 90s nearly every kiss tour since 83, a beatle and probably 10x seeing the foos. DAVE WINS! to me, it's because he epitomizes everything that come before him. which is exactly what i had tried to express to chris when i met him before the show. i mean, they got to be Floyd a few weeks back with roger, that in itself is insane, not to mention who they are in general. what's left? become the beatles?

No apologies necessary. The video was solid (and the sound, which should not be overlooked) was strong as well. Looks like you caught yourself a great show. Foo Fighters leave it all out on the field, as they say.
