  • remember dancing with all the rude boys from Brixton

  • West Brom tune..fuck Chelsea!!

  • @howiedanja beeen a Chelsea tune when you were in your dads bollocks, maybe even when your dad was in his dads bollocks, alll the way back to the 60's.

  • @tony671 Allot of football teams play this song before a match, fans often sing allong to it and chant there teams name at :40 and every other time it does that ending to the melody

  • @tony671 You know so little is laughable. What you spend doesn't guarantee you winning a cup competition and if losing on penalty's is not getting close to winning the Champions League, then what is ?

  • @tony671 sorry, 2008?

  • absolutely LOVE the fast bit at the start aswell as the song way before my time

  • Skinheads are b(l)ack sh

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLVES!

  • Actually, this song was played as Wolverhampton Wanderers players exited the tunnel at the start of their games for many seasons, right up until Graham Turner who was Manager in the mid 1990s banned it because of the lyrics that were chanted by the fans. "F*** Off West Brom"

I believe other teams have also used it for their anthem over the years, its a very popular tune as Skinheads have often also been Football Fans.

  • Fuck yeah! COME YOU CHELSEA!!!!!!!!

  • Come on you CHELSEA!!!!!!

  • Fucking love this when fan's sing this, if only Newcastle did this. :(

  • Im only 18 but i Respect this sort of music! It's absoloutley quality!

  • Chelsea's theme song and the epi-centre of modern culture in south london

  • Not true. Ska had a big revival in the early 70s. I know because my younger brother played nothing but for 2 years, lol. I was listening to Led Zep, hehe.

  • hahahahal clap clap clap clap chelsea, lol aaaaaaagggggggghhhhhhhahahahaha.

    - Yes. Many great tunes of this type were played at the funfairs. I also recall (vividly) 'Come Into My Parlour' - The Bleechers and 'The Whip' - The Ethiopians (not surprisingly played almost continuously on the Whip ride). I must post those tunes up as well...

  • OMG I LOVE THIS TUNE . IT TAKES ME BACK TO THE FUNFAIR WHEN I WAS 15Y OLD AND WORK ON THE HOTDOG STALLS ..HAPPY DAYS

  • FUCKOFF WANDERES WEST BROM!!!

  • @wba1897 Chelsea got the Liquidator at the Bridge in 1968 - 1 year before the official chart release, & one year before Wolves adopted it in 1969. The reason was the DJ at the Bridge had strong connections with friends in Jamaica and Ska & Reggae was already thriving at Stamford Bridge in the late 60's. There is even a MOTD episode from this period where you can hear the Stamford Bridge crowd roaring "Chelsea!" at the relevant places. Wolves got it early yes - only Chelsea got it first!

  • @housecarl6 this was the wolves tune long before the shit stole it i think you will find.as others have said it was also used up the wolves since 1969.

  • @forcodgb As a West Brom fan who lives in Brum the comments from Villa and blues fans suggest they associate it with the baggies also. So you are in a minority mate.

  • @forcodgb Chelsea got the Liquidator at the Bridge in 1968 - 1 year before the official chart release, & one year before Wolves adopted it in 1969. Please Please inform the spaz that if he does not kow this tune he probably shouldnt be a fan>???

  • Definitely Reggae and definitely Chelsea. They've been playing it at Stamford Bridge since 1969 when it came out.

  • @runtinsweet Thanks for your message. I thought 'Liquidator' came out in Jamaica in '69..but you could be right, maybe it was '68 in JA and then '69 in the UK. I'd love to see that MOTD episode. I first went to the Bridge in '67 and was last there for the match against Man Utd in the Champions league a couple of weeks ago. Whenever they play 'Liquidator' there it still sends shivers down my spine. In fact I think they played it twice that night! Cheers, Dave.

  • @barryover You're welcome mate. I hope you can enjoy Stamford Bridge for many years to come :)

  • @runtinsweet Thanks...Come on you Blues! :-)

  • FUCK OFF WESTBROM THE WOLVES

  • Ps football has no relevance in music--in fact football has no relevance at all

  • brill piece of music-- from a glam--new romantic and rock fan-quality like this doesn't need to be pidgeon holed-it will stand up to any scrutiny but personally I think its Regaie

  • Been played at West Brom ever since before I first visited the Hawthorns in 1975.. lots of clubs use it .. sadley banned at west brom at the moment

  • reggae is slow ska foooooooooooooooolllllllllllllllll mr t will pity your ass

  • wolves song ;] just to piss you guys off

  • I have this on 45 too, it belong to my beloved father, who gave me his whole 45 reggae collection XXX god bless his soul X

  • I still have the 45 record

  • choooon!

  • SKINS FOREVER!! OI!

  • fuck off football fans

    its classic trojan reggae

  • FUCK OFF WEST BROM, THE WOLVES!

  • @WolvesNoSurrender Fuck Off Wanderers, It's West Brom.

  • I first heard this reack while playing GTA London. And i always wanted to know who did this track! Thank you for uploading.

  • A lot of clubs play this now but most people know it as west broms anthem. I would also say its Ska and not reggae.

Got a feeling it was palyed at the Hawthorns before the "3 degrees" were there as well.

  • @housecarl6 It is classified as reggae although the stress beats on 2 & 4 are similar to ska. Ska was done for by 1966, this came out in 1969 and is loosely classified as "Boss reggae" a style prevalent in 1969 that had a fast beat. Note the lack of horns and upright bass which you find in ska.

  • @skajam66 Very interesting

  • @skajam66 I always called this style ska-reggae but you are making a lot of sense..ok a new one to me but Boss Reggae will do.Just a classic tune anyway.

  • @housecarl6 ... absolutely sure this isnt pure ska......but it tips a very nice pork pie hat in its direction

cheers for posting and with the lovely "vinyl crackle"

  • @housecarl6 I thought it was the Wolves who used it?

  • @housecarl6 'snot WBA's album. 'Smore than that.

  • @jasonpfinch eh?

  • Its fucking Chelsea's mate!

  • @housecarl6 This is Wolves tune mate they sing it about WBA

  • @housecarl6 Yes always a baggies song

  • Chelsea fans, fuckoff back to your Prawn Crackers.

  • @jenssalumae2 Prawn crackers? Like when we took 10000 to almost every away game in the 80's? get a grip u cunt. 5th all time average attendance and 50 yrs with no title = best loyal fans in England, MUG!
