  • @goldenhorde1990 Are you talking about the highest and lowest in Japan?

  • I could not catch the name of that restaurant... Aminoqulo?

  • I watched the same dance at the shuri castle, I really mis Okinawa!

  • I'm in Okinawa! i love taiko! Okinawa is so beautiful!

  • You did such a beautiful job with this video. My coworkers have a better understanding of me after the beautifully presented video!!!! Meaning the party animal!!!

  • I have been to many countries in my life, and I will say, that the island of Okinawa in Japan has the warmest people I have ever met. I miss that place.

  • I believe the people are warm because of the island is sub-tropical. The people of Hokkaido are some of the coldest people in Japan. :)

  • True statement. But in winter they get a little cold, nothing a nice Izakaya can't warm up.

  • @pangit22 Isn't that the truth! Not that I am partial since I am Okinawan by my mother's side!!!!!

  • This is my home. I miss it so much.

  • Thank you for doing this documentary and sharing this wonderful island with the world! I was stationed there for 4 years and if I could, I would go back in a heartbeat! As soon as I started the video and heard the music, the memories started rushing back! I hope I can go back again someday but until then, I am glad I found your videos to share the experience with others.

  • I miss okinawa so much.

  • This is what i miss the most from Okinawa

  • GOOD VIDEO.from JAPAN.

  • "Unfortanely she never had the opportunity to go back to Okinawa because of my american dad who was insecure. She still has family there in Moon beach."

This is maybe the saddest thing I've heard today :( My father is American and my Mom Okinawan. I'm going to visit my relatives there for the 4th time (we are not wealthy by any means) in august for the Abon Festival

  • @TheWeaponTheyFear411 Please visit your spiritual homeland. I was born there in 1955 . My Okinawan mother so amazing and taught me so much. She was in WW2 and war is just hate played out. She was the wisest person and most loving. My Dad is Caucasian American sweet man!. I dance Okinawan dance in San Francisco and love the connection with my Okinawan family here. Okinawa is so beautiful and spiritual for me. Have the best time!!!!!

  • @TheWeaponTheyFear411 where is that from?

  • My family truly enjoyed this video. It gives us a bit of my mothers heritage in which she still speaks to us about. Unfortanely she never had the opportunity to go back to Okinawa because of my american dad who was insecure. She still has family there in Moon beach.

  • "because of my american dad who was insecure". that's interesting - why exactly did this prevent her from going to okinawa?

  • He was afraid that she wouldn't come back, probably because of his previous marriage. Warm Regards.

  • Taiko is so amazing. The kids dancing are also great.
