  • on question is it stock

  • hey can some one tell me whats the best gearing for the rx8 on 5000mah 4s i play on racing and dont no what pinion to get

  • @MegaJonathan5

Depends on which motor you choose. The video is a 2000kv motor on 4S lipo, geared 15/45... which is way too muc for that little track. Please visit our online chat for setup information.

  • can i just plug the sensored lead once its set up on the hotwires without the esc frying ? and are they good as i have just payed £300 for the rx8 sytem with 2650kv but i am going to use my tekin 2250 kv motor with the esc thanks . and can you run a full battery down to thew low voltage kick in our not with it been sensored ? .

every sytem i have had in the pasted they have been losi or orion and everytimes you set them up the sytem frys everytime lol and i just wanted to use it with sensor

  • is the the tekin rx8 smooth with out the sensor lead in and can you set it up by just putting the hotwires on and stick the sensor cable in . i have got a rx8 new sytem . i have tryed losi in the past and as soon as you turn the esc on and once the lead is fitted the esc frys everytime

  • Looking to convert my 8t, Not a racer, just want all out speed but love Tekin Products. What combo do you recommend? If you could mention gearing and what brushless conversion kit/product you used in this video i'd appreciate it :)

  • just picked up my rx8 2250 kv combo from my lhs. cant wait to get this bad boy in my revo conversion

  • I'm just buying a 1/8 BL set from Castle.

RC-monster sells Tekin BL set today.

Plz compare to Castle set... which should I take? So many kind of set.

Which is speedy for 8ight T conversion?

  • Please comment below. Similiar but bettery than both :)

  • @ourrc

    get the tekin

  • @ourrc Get the tekin RX8 because what people dont realize is that teking pulls 210 amps ( Extreme ) while the mamba monster system pulls 120 amps which is stock in some rc buggies, Plus tekin electronics can get allitle moist but castle electronics if they get just alittle water then there smoking. Now im not dissing castle. I love the cheap high quality products but if you got the extra cash then go for a tekin. And i realize this topic is 2 years old but theis for anybody else out there.

  • Is this motor series supposed to out-preform the mamba monster/ novak 6.5?

  • Those are 2 different classes of motors. Our motors are 40mm and more like the Mamba and Nue motors.... except ours have sensors. The power is similiar, but most think ours out-performs them due to the sensored low speed and smooth precise control.

The Orange, Blue and SP 1/8 motors are 36mm long can 1/10 motors which are a lower overall power capability.

  • wow looks like fun

  • Is there a ETA yet?

  • No hard date yet. We are in proto stage currently and moving forward. We did run our 1/8 Truggy and Buggy this weekend at the Hank Perry 240 with the same same setup as in the video and they performed very well once again.

  • 4S 4800mah lipo with 2200kv motor

  • The power of a system depend mostly of the battery. Can you give the spec of the battery used in this one ?

    Thanks
