Right you are! Initially this series seemed to be on the right track, I even drew similarities between the ideas of the first few to Thesosophy. Now I realize this is propaganda of some power hungry cult(Illuminati?). They fear the judgment because they still see Christ as outside of themselves. When you still judge good and bad,you are existing in the world of duality, in which fear exists. There is no fear in perfect oneness, there is not perfect oneness in fear. Those people that ascend, they aren't going anywhere because they know that without judging what happens as either good or evil they have trancended fear and death.
