Sinon j'ai une petite question. Est-ce que tu penses vraiment que ce Eleven Rack vaut la peine d'être acheté (si en plus on a déjà le Eleven Free avec PT LE) ? Et également si il rend l'utilisation d'amplis guitares et de micros, pour l'enregistrement de studio, un peu inutile ? Est-ce que qu'il y a cette chaleur propre aux amplis guitares ?

Of all the sounds I could hear of Axe FX, Eleven blows it out of the water. It's either that the Axe FX are DEPRESSING and very badly done, or Eleven is really superior. I am trying to find out as I will buy one or the other.

@shiregrim: I think Logic Studio is compatible with most, if not all interfaces. I'm not sure why you would rather use Logic Studio instead of Pro Tools. You get Pro Tools software with this unit.

POD3 really think that has been overcome in my opinion by Digi Design + M-Audio (which are the avid after all the same company) The Black Box was magnificent digital sound made by M-Audio and Roger Linn now I certainly Rack Eleven of this is far above any effects processor released. There is only one processor, is also a portable studio and can handle the effects both via computer and external

Bah, you can use this with Cakewalk and save a bunch of money and still record in 64 bit OS. You just will have to push buttons instead of saving things in Pro Tools. I had stumbled upon this because I HAVE to use Pro Tools in college, but I will be recording with Cakewalk in my spare time unless Pro Tools just blows me away with it's ease of use or something lol.

Great demo on tones! I just bought it myself, and I'm still tweaking it. It doesn't even matter if you have Pro Tools or not - it sounds great by itself! I have a stereo power amp and some speakers, and haven't even opened Pro Tools yet! I'm actually thinking of replacing my Bogner XTC with this setup. Anyway, very nice video, and great playing too Pascal!

Yes! I think this is great because it is an all in one solution. The only thing I don't like is USB but the former USB setup with M Audio has gotten rave reviews and this is finally USB2.

I tried the Axe FX a while ago and was very much impressed by the sound quality.

It is hard to compare for me because I couldn't try the two of them using the same monitors, guitars etc.

As I said, I find Eleven Rack very interesting because it is a box that enables you to play onstage (rack), to record guitars (audio interface), to mix a song using Pro Tools and thus produce an album...

Anyway, that's what I like about it!

Hi Nicolasrivera,

It's a good question and also a hard one because the two products seem to me to be different. I would say it depends on what you're looking for.

The Axe FX has more amp models than Eleven Rack whereas Eleven Rack is also an audio interface that comes with Pro Tools LE. It's perfect for recording guitars, reamping so it seems very versatile and as you can tell, it fits very well in the studio environment and is perfect for playing on stage.

Hi Jacknarcotta, Thanks for the cool comments. Actually, Eleven Rack really is oustanding in terms of sound quality.

I'm crazy about good old tube amps and I have to say I was quite impressed when I first plugged into the rack: you can roll down the volum control on the guitar and still get a great tone as well...

I tried the rack with many different cominations and it does a great job in any case.
