    the radis is actually shorter of the 2 bones.

  • You are correct. But what I meant was that the ulna is shorter in that it doesn't reach the wrist. Thanks for the clarification.

  • Simply Learn The Parts That The Carpus Has is another mnemonic - scaphoid, Lunate, Triquetrum, Pisiform, Trapezium, Trapezoid, Capitate and Hamate.

  • just a quick note.. if you abduct the 5th metacarpal the pisiform bone will move distally (good way to visualise where it is)
