  • Yourbad nightmare: Thanks for the "seat of the pants" engineering, but this isn't car exhaust. The air exiting the heater is moving at 3 meters/second so there is absolutely no mixing. We've done not only the theoretical work, but smoke testing as well. Having the intake and exhaust together means only a single hole through the wall, and you can mount the heater with the fan on the bottom. Problem solved. Thanks for the comments.

  • Having the intake and outlet next to each other even with louvers facing the opposite directions would lead to a lot of cross circulation. This doesn't seem like a great idea. The intake and exhaust of a car are never together. Also the intake should be drawing in and heating the coldest air which is near the floor not near the ceiling. Poor engineering and design.

  • how much are these?!

  • Super !

  • Thank you. I'm just so impressed with how these things heat. This unit is installed in my home and today it's -22 C (-8 F) and I shut down the furnace when its on. The back bedrooms cool off but the unit will basically heat the house for 5-6 hours. My house is 1,700 sq. ft.
