Actually, I remember a post that quite convincingly showed that he actually in fact did not die.

One of the reasons was at the end CC says 'Thwer power of kings brings loneliness... Although thats not entirely true is it, lelouch?' Indicating she was no longer alone.

Also it was said that lelouch acquaired his fathers code, and it activated when he was killed. This is justified as when Nunally touches lelouch at the end, she sees his past, and this is linked to the code, not to using geass.

@Ereuthius Not like Jesus, Because Jesus didn't kill anyone and Lelouch killed people as many as you can imagine, but really it was pretty heroic since sometimes we do bad things for the right reasons. And lelouch didn't come back you know, he was officially dead, that alternate ending thing where you see him alive is only for show so other fans wouldn't be that deppresed. And by the way...You should really do a thorough research before speculating and posting comments like that.. for your sake.

@Ereuthius Jesus could have done good things but he didn't make the world into a better place : thanks to him there were a lot of wars, some people took advantage of the situation and proclaimed themselves as "spreaders of the good word"... they just want power. Religion makes people do bad things depending on what they believe (there are catholic murderers as well as muslim ones). Some people in the other hand just act for humanity, because only humans can make the world better.
