  • Wow that Helldiver is beautiful!

  • Bad Motors or bad Spirit..

  • Don't you love the comments from totally ignorant people trying to pass themselves off as experts? You can tell some of these people couldn't fly a paper plane let alone know anything about RC. I get more entertainment from the comments than the video sometimes. Although sometimes its a bit depressing...so much to say ... so little understanding.

Most of the deadsticks were good saves - the one wheel landing was outstanding.

  • This video is retarded

  • BESUCHT MEINEN KANLA

  • 0:52 0_O Toilet Paper?

  • I will never understand the giant scale mind. Investing that much ime and money for a 10 minute flight seems weird. Does anyone ever talk about how much it costs to build one of these.

    I

  • @SHADOW10621 RCplanes, like real planes dont crash if you are a good pilot, you do all necessary pre-flight checks, and you keep the plane clean and in good condition(new servos every 100 flights)and with time,rc planes have become less expensive than they were a few years ago.you can buy one of these planes in the video for less than 500bucks(second hand)or 800new.And when they crash, you only lose the airframe, not the entire equipment that you can re use on a new plane.

  • @Fra42below Are you kidding me. The crashes you just witnessed were by experienced pilots. Half of these planes crashed "Nuff Said" There isnt any plane in one of these videos for under $1000.00 do you live in Wal-mart world ?

  • @SHADOW10621 you're probably stuck in the 90's. 2 metre/80 inches wingspan planes are not even considered giant scale anymore, u can get an airframe for 400 bucks or less...my SebArt su29s 140 (the best 3D plane ever) cost me 1300 euros (2000 USD) with a Mintor 37cc gas engine and i say it the best you can get. planes in this vid, are way cheaper, lol. btw to call a plane "giant scale" it'd have to be like, 100-120 inches or more wingspan., and cost around 3000 USD all included.

    ciao:)

  • @SHADOW10621 You cant actually be assuming that every giant scale pilot crashes after a single 10 minute flight can you?? It's "RC CRASHES" Video.. What did you expect??

  • 1:56 LUCKY!

  • poor helldiver at least there was a good pilot to take care of it.

  • "Gettin' it up" is half the game.

  • 1:59 Cool tractor in the background!

  • 4 people don't fly RC planes....glad I'm not included. Great video

  • youtube trash

  • The descriptions says they were dead stick landings - they didn't cut the engines on purpose. Planes that size aren't for beginners - give them some credit for getting the planes down. If the engine cuts out at low altitude, you don't have time to set up for a nice approach, you bring it down in the best place you can - you are trading altitude for speed.

  • Probably there is a black cat watching somewhere :(

  • Other then the 1 wheel landing these guys suck touch speed wrong approach and should not cut engine that way u can pull out of a bad approach idiots leave the dumb ass women in the kitchen

  • 0:39 best camera position EVER :)

QUESTION: all planes were landed with stopped engine ... WHY ?

  • FAIL AGEN D; !!!

  • Damn good landing with only one landing gear!

  • Nice one-wheel landing.

  • Some pretty nifty emergency handling there. I'm glad I fly electric. Then it's my own fault when I have a mishap. Lol!

  • Down elevator...down elevator or a bit of rudder if your trying to slow down.

  • @ 0:36 you can see he is applying too much up elevator and starting his flair too soon and too high. Result comes next. The dreaded stall.

    Practice, practice, practice...

  • such a big airfield but nobody can land smooth normaly on this big field it should not be pproblem to land even with engine off

  • What happened to the F7F, loose one engine then killed the other to land after they lined up? Good save!!

  • lern how to fly

  • :50 toilet paper patrol

  • Looks like you would need a spotter just to walk around the place on that day. I want to party with you guys!

  • 2:18 was a very nice landing

  • I got news, gas powered RC planes suck, always have , always will.

  • great video its a shame to see those nice rc planes getting messed up but thats part of the hobby.

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • enemy ac 130 ABOVE!! oh it crashes "kgg: TANGO DOWN kgg"

  • Nice video!

  • Looks like a bunch of bombers returning from an intense mission over Germany in WWII, and they're all shot up, out of gas, one gear down, crashing into stuff on the ground. FUNNY.

  • these hooligans simply cant fly

  • Great recovery/ landing

  • what are the main causes of the motors stopping in the air?

  • @EnterpriseXI

    Out of fuel )

  • well theres your problem ( the first one ) ya gots dirt in your motor

  • Well at least you guys didnt have to dig for an engine.

  • jeez man u have horrible luck. ive been flying rc airplanes since i was 5 yrs old so 20 years and ive crashed/totaled a plane once. lol

  • Wow. It is just not your day.

  • That sucks.

That why i dont fly planes

  • You are right. That is why it is preferred for most flights of the really big planes like the quarter scale B-25 and third scale Corsair.

  • @railnwings not a b-25. That is a B-26. the b 25 has 2 tail fins,

  • that field was huge+

  • The landing with one wheel deserves a round of applause by itself. 5*

  • so sory

  • Nice flying!

  • Give up flying !!!! try needle work lol

  • What do they put in the fuel over your way that makes for all those dead-stick landings and undercarriage failures?

  • @xjet

I'm not aware of anything you can put in fuel that will effect the undercarriage.

  • @xjet just runs extremely rich. Engine loads up at low throttle and all the unburned fuel mixed with the oil sticks to the body.

  • P-51B got lucky there

  • Ouch...what is the recovery time on repairing some of these?

  • The firs two shown were sold. The P-51 was put in storage and yes, the engine was cleaned-up and was OK. The

SB2C "Helldiver" crashed later the same day, but was repaired in a few months. It later crashed again and was repaired. A Few years later it was totaled and thrown in a camp fire. The Tigercat was repaired and crashed about a month later and was sold.
