@kauaiboy89 Offroad they are amazing in the mud and sand, cant say much for rocks cause i live in Florida. But if you rotate and keep ballanced they arnt to bad on the road either, just have a little hum like all agressice tires do.
@drcranger The model of jeep wrangler is called unlimited...i wasnt saying the offroading capability was unlimited, while yes i do belive they are the best from factory for offroad.
It's still a well kept secret, the '04-'06 Unlimiteds are the pinnacle of Jeep design. The longer wheel base gives much better ride and handling, combine that with the last of the 4L sixes and you got magic. All that is needed are spacers on the springs and some nice shocks like the skyjacker Nitros and you are all set. Well at least in Fl that's all I needed. I did add an Emu steering stablizer and a few odds and ends like a spiral wound battery and a K&N. Best damn Jeep ever.
Very nice Jeep!! I'm looking at a '05 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara... The seller only wants $16,000 and it only has 12,098 miles on it! I has every option you could add and takes up two window stickers...
@Sarcasticscum 05 unlimited sahara??? in 03 they stoped making sahara editions...then picked back making saharas in 07. unless its a "sahara rubicon" if it is, then buy it cause only 1,000 "sahara rubicon" editions made is 05 a very rare find!
I'm not sure whether its a Rubicon or not, but I know it is in fact a Sahara Unlimited... I'm calling the owner later today, and I'll make sure to clarify.
@Sarcasticscum ive never heard of just a Sahara unlimited, only a Rubicon Sahara. get a good look at it because like i said only 1,000 were ever made! lol
it will have distinct markings/decals saying it was a "Rubicon Sahara"
Okay, so I called the owner earlier today. It is in fact a Rubicon Sahara! I was quite happy once finding out, but somewhat sad that he now want $17,000 for it... I've arranged to make a down payment on it and I won't ever be looking back. This Jeep will only increase in value, due to its rarity. Thank you for your time.
i went with Rough Country 2inch spacer lift with offroad shocks. i kept the stock springs. it cost alot less than a full out lift to. and looks great!
@kihe43 they are doing realy well on the road. not to loud. so far 17kmiles on them. i exspect to get about 25kmiles before i need new ones.
but the offroad preformance is out of this world! magical in thick mud and great in sand. idk about rocks cause in florida there aint none! lol on a scale from 1-10 overall this tire would be about 8.5.
@kddcc i got them on my 87 ford ranger 2.3 and its easy to pull those tires so far i like um the last 4 on the island haha score. thanks for the info.
umm the id say for under 1,700 instaled lift and tires. idr..i did tires like a year after i put the lift kit on the jeep. and i only remember the amount for the lift.

@kauaiboy89 For the price they can be had, they aren't bad at all.
They hook up a lot nicer than some other mud tires I've been through. They clean out nice too.
I say get em, you won't be sorry, they look like they might last me a while, I've had em on about six months.
I too live in Florida so rocks I have no clue. But they pull through sugar sand reaaaall nice.
