Half the amount of rum, no grenadine, and orange, not blue, curacao. Thank you for the previous comment - the orgeat syrup makes it a mai tai. The drink here is what gave the mai tai a bad name. And the dark rum floats atop -- stir only if you want.

Our friend put way too much rum in that glass, which would overpower the taste. Plus, you use ORANGE curaçao, not blue (where the heck did that come from?), also missing is the key almond orgeat syrup. Check out Trader Vic's original receipe.
