  • If anyone has got the text of this cantata would he please publish it on this site? I feel desperate, I have already wrote the music of the first recitative and the aria vanne o caro from the recording but I can't sing it because there are some words I just don't understand or can't hear when Angelo Manzotti are pronouncing them. I would be really grateful if someone could give me the text of this cantata

  • Por que rimar amor e dor?

    Why rhyming love and pain?

  • Dear dddhgg... We can find beauty in the deep sadness and grieving... knowing that eventually Sadness will end letting Life again flow freely...

    I am sad myself...

This music is it really beautiful, the obstinato so italian indeed!

  • i find it uplifting and inspiring that people can take grief and sadness and transform it into something beautiful. At the moment, I'm a bit heart-broken myself, but listening to this simple yet deeply moving music gives me hope again.

  • It's beautiful. The introductory sinfonia reminds of Pergolesi's introduction to Stabat Mater and Michael Haydn's intro to his Bishop Sigmund's Requiem: the contrapunctal imitative strings over a Basso Ostinato continuo accompaniment

  • Amazed I'm the first rater :) Thanks for uploading!
