MVP 2005 is still the best baseball game ever. I agree with PoliticsAddict, in the new games the players act like robots, and thay run like they have a load in their pants. I acculaly think the graphics in this game look more like real people than in MLB 09 The Show or 2k9. whatever, thats just what I think.

i knew once mvp lost the license for mlb, it was over for baseball games. and I was right. i don't care what anyone says, the graphics look better on mvp 05 then they do on mlb the show or 2k, its plain fact. for whatever reason, the enhanced graphics don't work out, it looks clunky and unrealistic, the players in the new games don't move right, they act like robots. mvp had it right, they used good enough graphics and made the gameplay perfect. the new mlb developers should look at mvp.

the gameplay is just smoother and the player has more control over dives and quick defense. in my opinion. the newer baseball games are more complicated and complex as opposed to mvps basic and easy controls. its more fun to play something when the controls are simple.

2005 is the better version because it was cleaned up ....all the glitches were fixed .. I still play this game and love it ... the Ai on MVP level needs a little tweaking when playing the CPU because the CPU will hit way to many home runs but other than that it's great because there are sliders to fix pretty much everything ....
