I pulled a cobra like this in my 94Z 6M. I didn't have the car long and should have taken 3rd insted of 4th. The cobra got 3rd and pulled just a little shifted pulled very briefly then I started slowly walking away..... Mine had a program and 160 thermostat but that's all.

The Ford Mustang continues to dominate due to the FACT more people buy it for it's superior quality, looks, cost, MPG, Safety record, etc etc. I have owned Fords, GM and Mopar. FORD is known more for its electrical problems then its engine problems. I just prefer the power of a GM over the sound of a mustang. Im a realistic guy I prefer the sound of a mustang, to me it just sounds meaner. but I drive a 84 firebird 383 stroker that would smack that cobra in the face.
@thunderup86 I would hope a built 383 would beat a stock 281 HAHA stroke and cam the little DOHC 32v and you're in the bottom 11's w/o boost and a mild tune with 308CI. GM is stuck in the stone age, a DOHC 4v motor will always make more power in the long run than a OHV 2v motor.

And a C6 Zo6 is 205Mph with 7.0L 427Ci V8 that makes 505Hp and the ZR1 top speed is 207mph with a 6.2L 378ci V8 638HP (With a SUPERCHARGER) mind you Learn what "Volumetric Efficiency" is then you might have a clue and will understand why the rest of the world thinks us Americans are stupid.

@Model192 My head gaskets leaked out on mine and now it needs rebuilt, 160kmiles 96 LT1... I sold it for almost nothing. I wish I had kept it.

@DaStampede22 this is coming from a guy who has owned both in the years you speak of. I bought a 96 z28 and all it did was leak oil. not start, and fuel line and brake lines would bust. I also have a 98 cobra, very nice, and have only had a couple problems with it. I loved the z28 and im looking to get another. But dont blurt out random things about how mustangs are POS compared to camaros. every person has different problems with different cars

@Camaromandave98 look up viscious gmz you will see rafas z28 with heads cams and intake manifold. with a 3500 stall and Drag radials running 12.2 at 112 mph. nowhere near stock and ceasers ws6 with bolt ons and cam with a4000 stall and 225 shot of nitrous hit low 11's. and his boy with a 408 ci stroker in his trans and nitrous running 10.80's .. so dont come up here saying stock camaros run mid 12's cause ive never seen them and i seen stock 03-04 cobra rip in the 12's all day.

@Camaromandave98 and by the way not all cobras were supercharged only 03-04 and the new ones. even in natural aspirated the cobra up good numbers same as the ls1. the 03-04 cobras are better built then your ls1. go ahead slap on a supercharger on an ls1 and run 15 lbs of boost see what happens. cobra all forged internals stronger block hands down study up son... and the new 5.0 kicks your ls3 ass anyday 6.2L pfff no match to the 5.0 4v
