Soon in this context maybe a day or even 10000 days.The scriptures also state that after death comes eternity, compared to infinity, a thousand or ten thousand years can be considered as "soon"

i first heard this beautiful hymn in a movie called "Latter Days" i recommend it. It's a story of conversion. But i don't believe Jesus is coming soon. They thought that in Peter's time. Remember: You do not kjnow the day or time of the Lord's coming.

@MariaRiemersma i dont have faith anymore.. i wish did believe as i once did..i am moved by spiritual music but organized religions have ruined it for me. Muslims, Christians all of them are so hateful and the opposite of their spiritual leaders teachings..corrupt to the core. i want to believe n pray but i have such doubt. i would love a sign...life has made me jaded in this regard. science has advanced thoughts that make it increasingly difficult to believe in an external god.but i hope thr is

@mayababy78 thanks for taking the time to write. i have been waiting for that sign for decades. I have come to believe the "god presence" is only within our own conscience. The scriptures are only guides written by ancients who knew far less of the world/sciences and who tried to understand the mysteries of the world (that science now explains ever increasingly). I've asked for tht voice. I have MA in Theology, Psych and Philosophy. I do hermitage retreats. Zen meditation is the best ive found.
