Joseph Smith must have been one of the worst husbands in history. It seems that the FLDS is full of bad husbands. Polygamy is abusive, even if the women are not physically harmed. I don't think any woman can really be happy having to share her husband, regardless of what religion she is. It's just sad that women are treated this way by their polygamous husbands.

Yes and the LDS leaders were supreme masters at threats and coercion. Brigham Young threatened LDS women with HELL into obeying his Polygamous arranged marriages of young girls to OLD LDS CULT LEADERS.

It made me feel sick when attending LDS church knowing exactly who the founders of that cult were and what they were really like. The church lies in its lessons to members and the public.

He was given many opportunities to step back from his witness, to say, "Well, I might have been mistaken" or "Joseph Smith fooled me" or something like that. He never availed himself of that opportunity. He always stood by his witness. In fact, he did more than stand by it--he insisted on it. The fact that you believe certain sins are worse than others is non biblical. The fact that J.Smith never preformed any miracles when ever he claimed to have been given divine revelation. Temple weddings, temple work, baptism for the dead, any sort of "limbo" where souls may be given another chance for exaltation in the next life. None of it is biblical!

What Christianity teaches makes a lot more sense than Mormonism could. The only way to heaven is through worshiping Jesus Christ. Yes, Mormons have Jesus and God, but their sense of who God and Jesus are is so much different. Apparently Mormons also teach that God was once a man. That's the opposite of the truth.
