  • it doesn´t work for me, when I add the playlist file into winamp it closes without error..... is there any other way to convert the files?

  • @kleber1983

install another winamp 2.91 and copy plugin folder from the old one. Setup your input and output in a preferences menu.

  • @ArtemRomanov So the trick only works with older versions of the program? damn it...

  • took a while for me to understand this because I don't speak german, but I got it working just fine, perhaps you could give me a suggestion to change the language?

  • @Syndusias just install english version of winamp 2.91 and copy plugin folder from german version.

  • Ok, to who ever cant make sense of this video. The op left out one simple but crucial piece of info, At the tip where it looks like it has play and stop, ff, rr etc. YOU need to puch the play button and as it plays it will convert the files to mp3. The op left this out for what reason I have no idea, seems how this program is in a non english format.

  • @gandolflitke thanks for your comment. I didn't push play button, because WinAmp made it for me. Watch this video one more time. I added music and the conversion started right away.

  • Now I feel like playing Battletoads & Double Dragon. :P

  • nukaSkooma isn't the only one. The MP3s are not appearing anywhere at all for me either.

  • @CTRaichu try to make folder "SEGA" manually. Install LAME codec... Does WinAmp convert your files? What extension do your files have?

  • @ArtemRomanov Hi!

Same problem for me! Launch WinAMP, copy the .m3u file, files are converting (I guess, the name change as it seems something happens...) even if I don't hit the play button...but NO .mp3 created.

I search them through windows, but nothing at all...

    Need some help!

  • @rogerleboucher Nothing under C:\Sega?

  • @CTRaichu I had the same problem, but I found a solution.

Open Winamp up and then press Ctrl+P.

Click on Lame Mp3 Writer plug in.

Where it says Settings, change it to High Quality VBR. Where it says Preset, change that to High. Change the Min Bitrate to 8, and change the output directory to wherever you want to files to appear. Then click ok. I don't know if much of ths is necessary, but it worked for me.

Now, when you press play on Winamp, it should convert them.

  • @Kodaishinigami what´s the name of the file that I have to click on?

  • worked really well for me.

Thanks for taking the time to do this!

  • w00t! Now I need to see if this works for SNES music files...

  • @SonicTHfu

(Oops, forgot a part of my comment)

    i bet it will!

  • @nukaSkooma just say why and I probably will edit this video.

  • My favorite Sega soundtrack would have to be Kid Chameleon. All the songs are great and fit well with the levels they're associate with.

  • Thanks! This really helped!
