doesnt work, i cant seem to get win amp working cause the setup crap keeps popping up instead,,and the geman one doesnt play shit...wtf..help someone lol
man, i found a site with every sega game soundtrack, i mean every game. My favorite is the Ghostbusters genesis soundtrack. That is some unbelievable work. There are some other ones where your like, I can't believe you can make that sound with a genesis, like in streets of rage 3. do you love making money?? /watch?v=qfNOumCyRNw
took a while for me to understand this because I don't speak german, but I got it working just fine, perhaps you could give me a suggestion to change the language?
Ok, to who ever cant make sense of this video. The op left out one simple but crucial piece of info, At the tip where it looks like it has play and stop, ff, rr etc. YOU need to puch the play button and as it plays it will convert the files to mp3. The op left this out for what reason I have no idea, seems how this program is in a non english format.
@gandolflitke thanks for your comment. I didn't push play button, because WinAmp made it for me. Watch this video one more time. I added music and the conversion started right away.
Same problem for me! Launch WinAMP, copy the .m3u file, files are converting (I guess, the name change as it seems something happens...) even if I don't hit the play button...but NO .mp3 created.
I search them through windows, but nothing at all...
@CTRaichu I had the same problem, but I found a solution.
Open Winamp up and then press Ctrl+P.
Click on Lame Mp3 Writer plug in.
Where it says Settings, change it to High Quality VBR. Where it says Preset, change that to High. Change the Min Bitrate to 8, and change the output directory to wherever you want to files to appear. Then click ok. I don't know if much of ths is necessary, but it worked for me.
Now, when you press play on Winamp, it should convert them.
thanks, very nice and helpful to get those megadrive tracks on my grooveshark playlist :) needed to get wonderboy in moster world there

it doesn´t work for me, when I add the playlist file into winamp it closes without error..... is there any other way to convert the files?
kleber1983 1 year ago
@kleber1983
install another winamp 2.91 and copy plugin folder from the old one. Setup your input and output in a preferences menu.

@ArtemRomanov So the trick only works with older versions of the program? damn it...

@CTRaichu try to make folder "SEGA" manually. Install LAME codec... Does WinAmp convert your files? What extension do your files have?

My favorite Sega soundtrack would have to be Kid Chameleon. All the songs are great and fit well with the levels they're associate with.
