We looked in the operator's manual to see the guidelines as to safety concerns with jumping and crashing a car before it was to be scrapped. Funny enuff there was no guidance; therefore there were no rules to follow for this performance. All combined the people who were involved in this production have made hundreds of car crash rescues with the Jaws of Life, and safety was a concern. Rednecks will be rednecks.
Like I said before the best video was lost, the end of this video was not the end of the car. It met a lot more trees before the Jaws got ahold of it.
The car was the subject of a legal issue and was evil and needed to be destroyed, also after the close encounters with the trees the local fire company used it for Jaws Of Life training. A small sacrifice to save others.

It didn't show it but the car was put through many more close encounters with trees and needed to go to the junk yard. I accidently recorded over some of the best footage with another driver at the wheel who missed the jump and just hit a tree! Next Car!
