I meant greater educated people. And Winston Churchill is one of our national greats. The Slavery Abolition Act of 1833 ended slavery of Blacks in and Transportation to America. Important people involved were Thomas Clarkson, Henry Brougham, William Wilberforce, Thomas Fowell Buxton, Elizabeth Heyrick, Mary Lloyd, Jane Smeal, and Anne Knight, they all deeply apologised. I do not apologise for something I did not do, but, if I was related to and enjoyed the advantages of being part of the Royal household responsible for the massacre's then an apology is in order. I agree the British Empire stopped slavery, they apologised for their part, so whats wrong with a recognition that this inbred royal household's name was responsible? why make the people you criminally transported responsible?
