I do like to philosophize, but i don't like religious embelishment, i say just live your life, who cares about everyone else. What matters is our personal happyness, if a guy is happy doing something that nobody else subscribes to, who cares, he's happy and that's all that matters. To me, religion is a reality escape for some people, they want the decisions made for them, can't handle reality. Not all of them...

I know many relgious people with purely good intentions, they practice what they preach but i feel sorry for them for people like that are the most tormented and tooken advantage of. But I live my life the way I want to, and including a beer every now and then, some green every now and then. I'm in college and i live with a very Christian roommate, but i mean hey she doesn't try to convert me and i don't trample on her beliefs, we live essentially in harmony. I still celebrate all the regular holidays that are "supposed" to be for only a couple religions, yet most people still celebrate Christmas, i still celebrate Christmas in the traditional way, but for me the meaning in the holiday is different, it is a family centric heritage of getting together by the fireplace and having fun with all of winter's fun activities, it's just the way i was raised.

As it says, GOD wants us to be in fellowship. And most holidays become a tradition, a family tradition about being together and celebrating the fact that love ties and bonds beyond all boundaries. Not to sound hippie-ish.. lol. But yeah, heritage, togetherness, love and family. That's life.
