One of the main reasons Jack tends to get more notoriety for Captain America than Joe, is because of how much Jack go screwed over (especially by Marvel) continually. In the end they both got ripped off of what they were owed for their creation and all the capital it brought in.

Joe scripted the comics, created the character, filled in the word bubbles, and did a portion of the artwork.

@m180322 I still stand by my statement, yet in no way is Joe Simon kicked to the curb. He was a founding father in the Golden Age of comics, and he deserves his props. Just got Titan Books' SIMON & KIRBY SUPERHEROES, and If I play my cards right, I would like to pitch this idea as an anthology animated series to Nickelodeon.
