If i'd grown up on a farm and was retarded, bruges might impress me but i was'nt so it dosn't ( hehehe it makes me wonder, to what other context could you use "if i'd grown up on a farm and was retarded" perhaps this could be a nice challange for everyone to see who can use this line the best) for example: if i'd grown up on a farm and was retarded, making love to this grapefruit would make more sense.

Just visited Bruge this weekend. Food, shopping, food, shopping, horse & carriage rides, boat trips round the canals., food, shopping.....aka the Venice of The North. Strange seeing places where they shot scenes from the movie. Expected to see a body falling from the bell tower and a midget walking by. The people I spoke to in Bruge said they liked the movie because it helped tourism but they distance themselves from the story - they are not like that and things like that do not happen in Bruge

@ruleofthespirit i went to brugge not long ago and found loads of areas where the scenes were shot, it's a beautiful place but was alot warmer than expected because i went in the summer. barely anyone i spoke to had even heard of In Bruges

@666jimmysmusicgirl neither do I and u know hw it comes ( I live in Bruges) cause the TOP-movies come out which i totally find crap except some exceptions. but The movie In Bruges never was in promotion and admit that the trailer they made is made by a retard xD

@edderd8 you shoudl see the film though. it shows the glory and beauty of bruges and yet hits right at the inner life of people there and tourists visiting, it isn't americanised and is a VERY good film, a kind that only comes once in every few years in this era. xD
