For a reason I can't exactly define, this piece of music has always conjured in my mind the empty blackness of space....
...and at the end, imagery from Babylon 5. A jump gate opening, a huge vessel drifting through - dark and ominous in a manner befitting HP Lovecraft, like in Thirdspace.
I'm probably alone in having such thoughts ofc. :p Hey ho. It's just me.
@nuspeiipah im well aware of that, since im a fan of both bands. both "the silent enigma" and "orchid" came out in the same year, so it was very unlikely that one band could have "copied" the other, but i really wasnt implying that.
with my comment, i was just pointing out that there is indeed a similarity in both songs, not acusing anybody of plagiarism, if it is what you thought..
@PanagosGr33kG134EVER go listen to britney spears old songs those have lyrics hhahaha, learn to express yourself and stop making a fool of yourself online. i.e. i think songs without lyrics are somehow dule. dont asume we all think that, and this melody is really depth dosent need lyrics
@evildude400 1st of all I didnt insult u.So why do u say that i listen to pop shit? That offends me.2ndly, by lyrics i mean vocals, and when a song has vocals and lyrics it makes the song more interesting than when it is instrumental, at leats to my ears
3dly the 1st comment of mine was written about 1 year ago, and since then i have dug metal much more, and I like instrumental like this too now.
and stop making fool of yourself online by teaching others how to express themselves.
@PanagosGr33kG134EVER wow, that was the most mature reply I have ever seen on Youtube. I wish more people would act like you. This would be a much happier place =-)

good melody but the song would be even better if it had lyrics
PanagosGr33kG134EVER 2 years ago
I don't think so, some themes sounds better when do not have a voice.

@VenusDjinn thats true, but no matter how good the melody is, lyrics give more interest to the track. Songs without lyrics are somehow dule
