As far as me and the other video, well my video was used in a national newscast and my name was attached, legally its copyrighted to me. I can't tell what is going on, but that looks like the Carnival Legend, my favorite Carnival ship. I've been on it twice. You look like a bunch of trouble makers to me. It's a goddamn cruise. Perhaps if you were out by the pool or the casino or watching a show you may have had a good time instead of crying about missing a port or whatever it is that happened.

PS - You are very confused about "1st Amendment rights" - besides the fact that you aren't anywhere near American soil, and you are on private property, you don't have the "right" to assemble and protest where ever you'd like. You have to get permits. But again, you're on a boat, in international waters, owned by a multinational corporation, you have no "Right of Assembly" (That's what you are looking for, not "Free speech")

The only american flagged vessels operating aside from river cruises are the NCL America hawaian islands ships, now reduced to the one vessel. Their reputation is pretty dreadful and compare very unfavourably to internationally flagged cruise lines,

I am sorry you feel that this was done in poor taste but I am passionate about being treated fairly and justly. I am sorry that I disagree with you and many others to the point it has caused me a lot of emotional strife since placing the video on here, but I am not sorry for how I felt that day and still feel today. I do not worry about being black listed from CCL, I actually prefer not to cruise in a low-class nature anymore. I will travel and American flagged vessel from now on.

I don't believe there any any American flagged cruise ships. They all fly under a flag of convienience.

I think that there is one. I believe it is either Norwegian (I hear they have wonderful Alaskan Cruises), or Royal Caribbean. I am not sure which one though. It is fine though. I cruised, experienced what it was like a few times and have decided that I would rather fly overseas and stay at a BnB or a resort and really experience what each country has to offer. I do wish that there were more American flagged vessels though. That would be a nice change!

This is pretty pathetic. Who acts like this, especially on a vacation. Sounds like your group ruined peoples vacations, not Carnival. If they cancel a port due to safety concerns, the only thing you can expect back would be your port taxes for that port. Read the contracts before you buy a ticket. I did. I wouldn't be happy about losing a port, but I also wouldn't act like this.

"It's better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for who you are not" and I don't care about all the haters on here who don't like what we decided to stand up for. Cruising is what it is, doesn't make it a great vacation or make what they do right in these events. I am willing to bet that all the people on here and other sites talking about this video have done something like it when a business didn't give them good service. Hyoocritical, period!

i was on the triumph about 2 weeks ago,,,,it really sucked. carnival does not care......fares are dirt cheap and u get what u pay for, NO Service......RCCL is far better.

I would have hated to be a passenger on this cruise - not because the destination was cancelled or I wasn't informed before I sailed - but because I wouldn't have been able to enjoy myself with a bunch of fanatics screaming in the atrium.

I'm sure you will censor this - since it doesn't fall in line with YOUR position but everyone who protested was out of their minds. This is mob mentality at its finest.
