WOW..............Its been a very long time......

I remember waking up at 5 in the morning for exercise and then sports. The tree outside the 5c class was a mango tree and we used to throw stone at them to et them and get in trouble. the classes didn't have doors. they were open, the best time was when it used to rain that fresh smell of the mud was eatable. playing football in grass that is up to the ankle and it used to rain at the same time.

I was in this school from 2001-2003 (8th to 10th class)....and was in hostel....although I spent only 2 years here but a memory of lifetime I have now.....and by far the BIGGEST CAMPUS of any school I have seen in India....Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan's,Baroda Rocks !! I forgot to thank Alok Patel and Rushiraj. It was empty while u flimed it. Were the students on holidays?. I remember Vivekananda and Munshi hall. In those days a majority of the students like my self were from abroad..part of the Gujarati diaspora. It was a good place to grow. Baroda itself was a quiet sleepy city. Do u have any videos of the city? There was a mini zoo and a wonderful garden. Hopefully those haven't disappeared!. A warm hello to all Bhavanites especially the ones from(70-80)

I dont have any videos of the city. But I can tell you this...The city has changed a lot since those days. The zoo and the gardens still exist but it has been more than a decade since I have been there. The city has changed so much in past few years. New buildings, airports, malls, theaters and the city limit it self has been increased..

Good job doing yeomans work. Keep it up!. I remember Panchvati being my first classroom. A big shout out to my crew(75-84), Devraj, Devendra and the rest. We had Mr H. Shah and Mr Pant as our teachers. I was disappointed to see the school a bit run down. We dominated the soccer field in those days. I wonder how Bhavans is doing these days? Do pigeons still roost in the rafters? We had an xcellent library and labs..too bad we didn't spend much time time in there...lol. Vivek Patel

This is nice. I was in 1982 batch of Bhavans. In fact I visited Bhavans after 25 years in Dec of 2007. It has changed a lot though some things are still the same. It was a great school. I was a day scholar, aprefect for three years and ast head boy in 1981-1982.
