Like Pat said-the DOD is great for slamming the front of non MV amp. It's great to get deals on things that people don't know how to use. Eventually though, things come back....and get 'vintage' and costly. The best 30 bucks I ever spent.
I've done clipping diode mods to the MXR but I've never touched the cap before the clipping stage. Now I know what I should be doing next. Thanks Pat!
