Oh ya the Pawtucket Red Sox. I'm a huge hockey fan and I like the Ottawa Senators and their affiliate is the Bingemton Senators. So tickets for a Bingamton Senators game arnt that expensive so I'm guesses people at McCoy Stadium wouldnt have to pay that much "good" money to get a seat there. I wouldnt care at all if they had to hold a Bingamton game for 30 sec. b/c of a news reporter. But in a way I understand what your saying because he wasnt talking about the baseball game at all he was.....

talking about some1 getting raped. So I wouldnt like that if they held up a hockey game to tell the "news" of the day. But at least it wasnt a Proffesional game.

Minor Leage Baseball players are still pros. And the Toledo Mud Hens( TIgers AAA Affiliate) tickets go for about 10 bucks each.

dunno where this was filmed, but freedom of the press may have nothing to do with it, especially if it was a private field.
also, news stations that broadcast events work in conjunction with the refs (to get TV commercials timed correctly, etc). its possible the station forgot where they were in the broadcast and someone just had to let them know about it.

wrong. this is not a matter of freedom of the press, the guy can go somewhere else and report on whatever he wants to. the issue was not his subject matter (which would have been violating his rights) but the location from which he was reporting. the field is private property and reserved for the game and authorized personnel. On the field of play the umpire has the final say.
