  • Fuck the umpire

  • FUCK THE PRESS

  • fuck the umpire.

  • FUCK THE PRESS!!!!

  • Clearly reporters wrong. He wasn't even talking about baseball, or anything related to sports. Get off the field.

  • That umpire clearly had a power trip, probably gets beaten up by his wife or something.

  • what an ass

  • haha, i was a at game where this couple walked on the field for their wedding. everyone was just so dumbfounded that these morons would do this (perfect for each other?) so it took mayb 2 mins before the umpries told em to get off.

then we saw marriage recital and everythin later when leavin the stadium, wedding at a baseball stadium? romantic?

  • Reporter's fault. He should've known what time the starting pitch was.

  • Yes if need be

  • can an umpire throw a fan out of the game?

  • @KLQKPILOT No, that's why he called security over

  • @KLQKPILOT it has happened at a brewers game before. there might be a video on youtube somewhere.

  • @KLQKPILOT Yes.

  • the umpire looks like his twin brother

  • How dare they stop your interview! People come to see your interview! If not for that stupid game we have to watch until you give it to us!

  • so who the idiots who let him on the field ??

  • haha it was at a pawtucket red soxs game I'VE BEEN THERE

  • WTF was he thinking going on a baseball field talking about about someone getting raped.in Jacksonville FL,they broadcast in front of the jail for shit like that.

  • apparently the ump was wanted for raping a 30 year old new york woman...

  • haha the guy couldn't make it to the bigs so he decides to be a dick in aaa ball

  • Just for your information reporter, the Chief Umpire is the authority in the field, never forget that....

  • That was AWESOME! The press should not become the story, keep their asses off the field

  • Dude your the fucking news, not a fucking player, get the fuck off the field, out of the fucking locker room, and shut the fuck off.

  • On one hand he didn't need to be on the field that close to game time, on the other hand the umpire was kinda being a douchenozzle.

  • @BestMusicExpert a douchenozzle. never heard that b4. nice!!

  • Ump got his ass pounded last night now hes taking the pain out on reporters, tragic

  • Most of the time it is the clubs themselves that cause these problems. The reporters and the news agencies have an agreement then the clubs do not clear things through the leagues and then the umpires get put into a situation. They league could authorize a delay for any reason they wish, but the club doesn't notify them and then the reporter and the umpires have this sort of thing happen.

  • ALL MEDIA NEED TO STAY THE FUCK OFF THE PLAY FIELDS AND OUT OF THE LOCKER ROOMS!

  • damn media, they think they're actually important

  • ahhahahahahaha

  • What a fukin dumbass reporter, ump shoulda shoved his face mask up the reporters ass,and why the fuk would u want to report a woman got raped during a fukin baseball game?.

  • He's talking about a woman getting raped on the baseball field? what in the hell is that?

  • while he said raping he had a smirk on his face...what a douche

  • WTF you can play snake on this video pause and hold left key for 3 seconds and let go!

  • pause at 0:09 look at the umpires face lmfao

  • This UMPIRE NEEDS TO BE FIRED.

Who does he think he is?

This is OPENING NIGHT! Look UMP, you need to figure out WHO pays your salary.

    UNREAL!

  • @JR08620 Pretty sure that reporter doesn't pay his salary....the reporter doesn't need to be on the field that close to game time. Once the line up cards are exchanged, the umpires have sole authority over the condition of the playing field. That includes annoyances like T.V. reporters. He belongs in a press box at that time, which is why they have press boxes.

  • @JR08620 Your comment stinks

  • @JR08620 the reporter/news channel most definitely don't

  • He should not be on the field like that, that close to gametime. Umpire was correct!

  • news reporter should have kicked the umpire's ass

  • Stupid ass reporter!!

  • The news reporter was being a jerk. It was a good idea.

  • yeah the umpire was doing his job....what the hell was the guy doing on the field that close to gametime anyways?

  • "Shut the Game, Shut the Lights off.."

  • More to hate about umpires

  • @RavensScrewSteelers The Umpire is doing his job. That reporter should not be on the field at all, let alone reporting about something completely unrelated to the game.

  • hahahaaaa umpires just being umpires..

  • A rape case on a baseball field? What the fuck...

  • It took them more than 30 seconds to throw him out...

  • @rogerboy550 hey smart one the video is only 21 seconds long

  • "We're on live TV here" As if this smart-ass, pencil-neck reporter is more important that anything else that's going on.

    Geez!

  • @Kal99 Um...without the TV coverage, the game isn't worth much.

  • When a broadcaster buys the rights to a game, they get allowances, like having their people on the sidelines. This is not the case here. This is just some local news guy wanting to do his remote hit from the outfield (of all lplaces).

If this guys was an in-game reporter, he'd be allowed to have his spot and perhaps do in-game interviews with the players...a la Lynn Swan, Andrea Kramer.

    Big difference!

  • @Kal99 OK, yep...You're right. Sorry.

  • Accepting when you're wrong and taking in new info is what it's all about. Good shit bro.

  • Totally agree

  • thats the best

  • get the fuck off the field and play ball!!

  • SO SHUT UP AND GO, ASSHOLE.

    Nuke the press.

  • The background music made it even more hilarious.

  • i have to agree with the umpire there the press should not be allowed to do a live report from the field regarding some raping unless it just happened during the game.... even then the press should not have been on the field

  • What a JERK!

you're telling me that dumb jerk-off couldn't hold his breath for 30 lousy seconds?

    30 seconds!

writing this stupid comment is taking me longer then 30 seconds!

    WHAT A JERK!

that Ump will never make in the majors with that attitude!

  • At least the commentator took it in good humor.

  • rofl

  • Who the fuck who let a nob on a baseball field talk about a rape case...yeah that makes sense.

  • the ump didn't want to hear about the 31 year old woman who got rapped

  • Who DID? This is BASEBALL.

  • Good on the umpire. The reporter had no business being on the field, especially that close to game time. The umpire was just doing his job. THIS IS NOT A FREEDOM OF THE PRESS ISSUE! Besides, the umpire didn't tell him he couldn't report the story, he told him he couldn't report it on the field during the game!

  • Just more dumbasses of the press that think they can do whatever they want because they're on tv. No one cares about the news, especially if it's not about baseball on a baseball field.

  • @semajws because damn, if that reporter stood the for the first 5 seconds of the game i would be so upset i would kill myself

  • @semajws

Yeah, the umpire is king on the field. The umpire can eject fans, players, managers, staff, or anyone. The umpire is boss and it is his job to manage the game which is what he was doing. He wasn't silencing his right to an opinion, he was just saying, "Hey, you're out of time, we have to get this started". I mean, if that's considered an infringement of freedom of the press then the guy could ostensibly go on all night if he wanted to. The umpire was totally right.

  • @semajws .... Thank goodness someone else with a brain. And I am not saying this as a fellow umpire (or even soccer ref). =) Officials are NOT always the bad guy or girl.

  • lol, 0:03

  • about time... the press lies and tell us fake stuff... this needs to be done more often

  • Look at the batter's box. The batter is ready, the catcher is ready, get off the field! Good game management by the ump.

  • its just a baseball game

  • its just a news broadcast

  • Raping a 31 year old New York woman. Hmm whre could we broadcast this? how about at a AAA baseball game!

  • on opening night

  • that guy wasn't even reporting sports news, listen closely to what he says in the beginning

  • That sports anchor is way out of line. He needed to move his broadcast 30 feet away instead of arguing with an umpire lol.

  • why are yall calling the umpire an asshole? what if the umpire came to the news station and started calling balls and stikes there? would that be ok? think people.

  • wft? who raped that 31 year old?

  • obviously the ump .. thats why he shut down the broadcast

  • "GTFO, Mr Broadcaster. Baseball is SERIOUS BUSINESS." XD

  • the ump is a clown

  • So much for selling tickets by publicizing the ball club....A little power is always a dangerous thing.

  • Pawtucket doesn't need much help selling the tickets

  • OWNED!

  • JERRY! JERRY! JERRY!

  • lol

  • the weatherman did have a quick wit, getting a little heat, getting thrown out opening night, meanwhile blue is thinking who's grandmother got raped? where? what? oh hell no, you're outta here!

  • was the reporter even talking about baseball? i swear he says RAPE

  • I'm not sure how to say this... maybe you should go talk to someone. A professional.

  • ok, maybe im just deaf as a fucking dead grannie. "Raping of a 31 year old new york woman." right in the beginning. go fuck yourself penis breath

  • Jeez I was just making a joke. But now I really am starting to get concerned. Seriously dude, you're teetering...

  • teetering on INSANITY! WOOOOOOO IM GONNA RAPE AND KILL SOMEONE AT A BASEBALL GAME! OH SHIT! I SMOKE COCK! sorry for this LOGICAL explanation. Now im gonna have a bowel movement.

  • It's the fuckin homophobics who are most likely to want to get ass fucked you stupid cunt. Hopefully the thing you call a girlfriend doesn't see this!!!

  • ok im gonna be the bigger man and quit arguing on the internet. its like losing the special olympics.

  • can we get security over here please!

  • Comment removed

  • "We're on live TV, sir."

"Yeah? Well we're trying to start a live game, buddy."

  • That's one of the funniest things I've ever seen. The best part was that, after being told in no uncertain terms to stop so they could start the game, the reporter says "we'll be done in about thirty seconds." I guess the reporter forgot that it wasn't his stadium.

  • that was dumb what he was doing

  • GOOD FOR HIM!

  • hahahaahahahahahahah

  • Well it is opening day so it is the most watched pawsox game of the year. But cant you do it from like the corner of the pawsox dugout instead of right on the field. tie!

  • why is the home plate umpire way over there where the hitters box is well behind them...fake? oh well funny either way

  • I am glad that guy got thrown out! he was talking about rape ,not about the game! GET LOST! GO UMP!

  • omfg...that news prick is SUCH a wanker...GO UMPIRE!!

  • he is ouuttttttttttttttt !

  • people who are saying the umpire was wrong need to attend a professional sporting event, or even a college one for that matter...i used to go to hockey games at a local college when i was a kid and with the way the arena was set-up, the fucking reporters were always delaying the face-off because of the brightness of the light...it just sucks waiting to see something that you've paid for when there are other people that are trying to make money who don't care.

  • That's Joe Rocco. It couldn't have happened to a "nicer" guy. Good call ump!

  • Do as the ump says, if you are holding up the game, get out NOW!!!!!!!!! Now here's my question, why was he on the field instead of away from it? Give the ump's credit for once. The ump's not overreacting at all. If you hold up the game, he has the right to throw you out by calling security. Good job.

  • Hey thats mcoy stadium, i was just there last week

  • Just like a dumb reporter

All he had to do was move

  • what a douchebag there trying to play the game and this idiot is holding it up why cant u do the damn report from the stands or even better your studio

  • bad language

  • why report a rape at the baseball game

  • hahahahahaha

  • Good for that ump, the reporter wasn't even talking about the game.

  • get the f off the field you tool

  • Good one, ump.

  • The reporter is such a friggin' ass...."We're on live T.V., Sir"..........so fuckin' what! Your dumb ass is ALSO holding up the game, retard........hopefully, this jackass was fired!

  • btw he wasnt holding up the game he was a news reporter AT the field not involving the game and did not delay anything the umpire did know.

  • how can you say that he is on the sidelines of the field he is delaying the game. lets say a foul ball was hit his way?

  • you got be the most dim witted person to believe that.

    1. umpire had to delay the game to tell him to leave the spot 2. umpire has all the right to throw fans or mangers etc... out why do you think the camrea crew have a small section in baseball? out of the way?

  • wait so are you agreeing with me i cant tell. i forgot what i was trying to say in my comment.

  • i am saying your comment is wrong.

  • Have you ever seen the lights they use in live shots? It would certainly hold up a game. He is on the field of play, granted foul territory, but still in play. What if the first pitch were fouled off to the area where they were shooting preventing a catch from being made. The umpire not only has the right, but the obligation of making sure the game starts as scheduled and is responsible for removing unauthorized personnel from the field of play at game time. It specifically includes the media.

  • I love this ump.

Reporters have become such arrogant jerks. Good on Sean Penn too. Other than his propensity to beat hell out of reporters, I can't stand him.

I like seeing reporters taken down a peg or two after some of the disgraceful things I've seen them do in the name of the free press.

Go ump! Throw the bums out!

  • I bet they had to get him off the feild I mean it was a big game at the well known McCoy Stadium. I mean it was like a World Series game, right? lmao, why would the ump let him stay for 30 second?

  • Because thousands of people paid good money to see the game, and it's not right for one guy to hold things up!

By the way, McCoy Stadium is where the Pawtucket Red Sox play, the AAA affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.

  • Oh ya the Pawtucket Red Sox. I'm a huge hockey fan and I like the Ottawa Senators and their affiliate is the Bingemton Senators. So tickets for a Bingamton Senators game arnt that expensive so I'm guesses people at McCoy Stadium wouldnt have to pay that much "good" money to get a seat there. I wouldnt care at all if they had to hold a Bingamton game for 30 sec. b/c of a news reporter. But in a way I understand what your saying because he wasnt talking about the baseball game at all he was.....

  • talking about some1 getting raped. So I wouldnt like that if they held up a hockey game to tell the "news" of the day. But at least it wasnt a Proffesional game.

  • Minor Leage Baseball players are still pros. And the Toledo Mud Hens( TIgers AAA Affiliate) tickets go for about 10 bucks each.

  • The media think that they are the main attraction when they are only reporting it...Get off the god damn field!

  • He could have done the live report 2 feet to his left so he wouldn't be on the field.

  • o wow..mccoy stadium in my hometown. the pawsox okay there, farm team for the redosx

  • hah the beginning says raping of a new york woman :0

  • i hate the media and presss

  • why was this guy doing a news report about someone getting raped during a baseball game? That makes no fucking sense.

  • that's absolutely idiotic. According to your logic, if I were a reporter I could go out during the 4th game of the world series and do a report in the middle of the third inning, and no one could stop me. Freedom of the press, right?

  • lol. you really think this is a freedom of the press issue? a baseball field is private property and the reporter can be removed for trespassing.

  • wow thats a bit extreme

  • no actually YOURE wrong- he wasnt telling him what he can or cant say- he was trying to get a game going- JEVICofthaMC is right

  • Once again a member of the media thinking he can go anywhere and do anything. Good for the ump!

  • dunno where this was filmed, but freedom of the press may have nothing to do with it, especially if it was a private field.

also, news stations that broadcast events work in conjunction with the refs (to get TV commercials timed correctly, etc). its possible the station forgot where they were in the broadcast and someone just had to let them know about it.

  • He had no business on the field. They could have recorded news anywhere, I'd have thrown him out too.

  • its exactly what the information says... he isn't reporting baseball he was reporting in the beggining about some lady being raped...... who goes to a baseball stadium just to report a rapping of a women?

  • wrong. this is not a matter of freedom of the press, the guy can go somewhere else and report on whatever he wants to. the issue was not his subject matter (which would have been violating his rights) but the location from which he was reporting. the field is private property and reserved for the game and authorized personnel. On the field of play the umpire has the final say.

  • lol. damn that ump is lucky there wasnt a law suit. Ever heard of freedom of the press????

  • Wow..you're dumb. He can't just be on the field reporting hold up things. Just like fans can't just run on the field.

  • That's great iam very agree

  • That is great!! For once the game is more important than the damn TV!!! Give that umpire a raise!!!

  • the reporter was talking about rape... had nothing to do with baseball. so why was he on field?

  • ha ha ha ha exactly

  • wow its a triple A game haha

  • I hate these reporters that think they are more important than everyone in the world. The world is not waiting on you. GET OFF THE FUCKING FIELD!

  • that umpire beats off at night thinking about being a police officer.
