hott damn this is REALLL blues , deep heartshaking blues , simply no words for this one, just keep listening to it folks, there is no need for words here just listen and digg.......
like my daddY & Mom"s 1953 Roadmaster that I as 2 years young just turned to the three on route 66 to family dutch & scottish friends in....Palo Alto..my trip was filmed..(home movies I will one day learn how to share on internet) patience is an angelic sumthing.......greetings
This song came to me like a real gift from some other world. After seeing some other comments I see I'm not the only one that goes to some dark other worldly place when I hear this song.
thats the blues cause you can see the road in front of you. Rain, so hard you hear barely the car. you sit in that old car that smells of a smoker that quit 3 years ago and ur driving along this road. I don't care if there's faster guitar player, cause nobody can paint a picture like John Lee Hooker. Amazing
when i listen to stuff like this, it´s like i´m dragged into a whole other world, i can´t explain this world, maybe it´s just me, or maybe it´s the blues
I not onky kove thisvideo because it's fucking amazing, but also due to the fact that there is not one insulting comment or comment comparing it to aother musician with less musical talent.
@mafistofun I noted that ocmments were removed, either by the YouTube people or the commenter. Not sure I understand. Did note recently that I can edit a comment to correct spelling. That is great! cheers!

Thats what only blues can do: Let the instruments sing the environment of the song -
The snare drum is playing the windscreen wipers, slide guitar is playing overtaking cars and Hooker's guitar the falling rain.
I can see his view through the windshield just by listening. *Goosebumps*

It puts you right there in the car, you can almost see the windshield wipers go back and forth to the beat of the song. This is Blues at its finest.
