The Houghton Mansion is haunted. I live in North Adams, Masschusetts and the Mansion is haunted cause I was a little girl when I went in there for a haunted house event they have every year around halloween. I remember it was hot in the building, but I felt cold chill on my back and I wanted to leave to the place. Everyone in North Adams knows the sad story of the Houghtons. When I saw this I knew I wasn't imagining it.

What Zak heard downstairs was one of the sacrificed souls of the "Masons." For at least a couple hundred years, the "Masons" have conducted rituals, which are actually sacrifices to some deity (supposedly Lucifer) for power. The fact that they had to walk through the chapel to go down there only emphasizes that that was where they kept the sacrifices. The entity down there probably tried to run for help and failed.

if you start at 19:50 to 19:55 you see a ball of light shoot down the screen that comes out of no where then disappears, then at 28:18 to 28:20 you see an orb of light form to the left then turn left towards the doors where door opening sounds when Zak say to make a noise, and also at 34:24 to 34:30 you see an orb at the bottem right come towards the camera at a downward angle.

@jessy7073 I was coming down the stairs, and I was pushed from behind. I was home alone. But, after I had fallen for about two steps, I felt this pressure on my chest, and I wasn't falling anymore. The pressure ceased after I had regained my footing. And this other time, the door to my basement wouldn't open (no locks on the door, it was winter so no humidity, and after a couple minutes of trying to open the door, I yelled, Open up! and the door swung open.
