At this point , I dont think it matters with the music its all period of a similar era in the longshot. 14 years. The musics not a issue, its still closer to the real thing than we could ever get to these days mofo!

You're both right. It is a great classic & 50s or 60s music could have made it better.

That generic 70's funky chase music didn't really fit well with the scene there did it? Some 50's sounding music or something more dramatic would have been better heh.

@pcwebster I like funky '70s chase music and I have seen this movie. I still think '50s period music would have been better, since it's set in the 50's. Especially in this one scene here where he's just calmly driving through town, it seems like the music isn't matching anything that is happening. In the other scenes it's not that bad. But still it's like if they made a movie about a '70s car chase and used rap or nu metal for the music instead of funky '70s chase music, it wouldn't be as good.
