  • I heard a Whelen at 0:39 :D

  • allertors in Attack. . .

  • i love they way they sounded at wind down.

  • Allertors, right?

  • ok i just googled those locations and i found the sirens...the first allerator and the penetrator are all the way across town...how can you hear them so well??

  • very good sound like i live in Baytown Texas and our warning sirens are whelen WPS -3016'S they make whooping sounds and go off at every Wedensday at9:00 AM

  • i thihnk every city should have sirens.....with just that the death toll and injureies from tornadoes would be less....i dont care if any1 disagrees...its about saving lives

  • @andyjalc I agree with that! I used to live in a little bitty town, Eolia, MO, from 1982 to 2004, or so, and they are just now gettting warning sirens! Tells you what small towns have to go through just to get equipment.:(

  • I think I might of heard some dogs singing along with the sirens.

  • thoes r awesome ones haha

  • make that allertor

  • one of them was definately a thunderbolt, the second one may have been a wheelen or an alerter..not sure.

  • Allertors and P-15s.

  • Actually it's Allertors and RM-130s.

  • all of those sirens wailing at once sound eriely beautiful.

  • Very good effect. I love it when the sirens are not in sinc, so you can hear both of them. The fact that no one's outside is creepy, too.

  • Beautiful video! This is the best multi-sirens video yet!

I love it how even though you cannot see the siren, you can tell its aimed at you, such as at 00:36.

  • Excellent video. This is one of the few vids on youtube where you can hear multiple sirens.

  • Do I here a wheelen in the backround somewhere

  • cool siren! nice nighbourhood too!

  • Was dis a test or 4 reals

  • Test

  • Wow, this video brings back memories. Jonesboro, Ar's tornado siren system consisted entirely of ACA Allertor's and it was awesome hearing them sounding together. Now that's a distant memory, as most of them are being replaced with FS 2001'. Than my new town has ASC T-128's. I'll never hear another Allertor again. :(

  • My mistake. That howling siren is actully a American Signal P-15. Duh.

  • I heared an Allertor and a Whelen WPS 4004.

  • yes it sound like a thunderbolt in the fare distance.

  • I only noticed one car on the street, Is everyone gone at work or is there a winter parking restriction?

  • poepp

  • THE ZOMBIES ARE COMING!!!

  • love listening to these things whenever they happen to go off, heh. you've got a classic sound right there mate. thanks for the memories it stirred

  • Allrator...old air raid sirens right?...omg..lmao...i just got chills the third time the allerator went off

  • When I was a 5 year-old boy, our french sirens used to sound like this "Allertor".I'm 22 now....

  • Y do we need civil defense sirens?? when do we use em'? r they 4 if we like, get bombed or sumfin????

  • well, that was why they were originally installed. Most places that still use them do so for severe weather warnings; or, for places along the ocean, tsunami warnings.

  • Scary but beautiful. The whole seen is surreal

  • was that snow i saw?

  • Yep

  • Is that an Allertor?

  • yes, to my moderately trained ear, I'd venture to say it's an Allertor going up against a P-15.

  • kinda creepy!

  • it is like the end of the world

  • sounds kinda like a world war two siren earry siren but awsome video

  • After the chaos of the sirens is finished, you hear one lone gull singing (or whatever bird that is). Nice ending there ;)

  • Sounds awesome!

  • Heards like "Air raid" alert in 2.nd WW.

  • Poor little town reminds me of the town on the water being destroyed in War of the Worlds.

  • hell ya this video is badass

  • They sound like a bunch of howling dogs! The Thunderbolts have these puppies beat by a mile!

  • Is that Penertrator the sme one in the other video?

  • Brings back memories, I used to hear them test the similar sounding "air raid sirens" in Los Angeles Ca. on the last friday of each month. They do not test them anymore but you can still see them around the San Fernando Valley.

  • We have those where I live they sound freaky.

  • Those Allertors sound awesome in attack mode. Sadly, Milwaukee and surrounding suburbs are slowly getting rid of their Allertors and replacing them with Federal 2001's. I'll try to get video of one during the test on 4/12.

  • Whare was the location of this? As I have a bf that lives in Madison Wisconsin

  • yeah, I would like to see the P-15 video and a Cyclone on here, before I have to buy one for myself.

  • Pretty creppy...

  • The loudest sirens in this video are the Allertors, right?

  • yes the loudest ones, the harsh sounding ones, are Allertors. The low pitched one you hear in the background is an ASC RM-127 aka ACA P-15.

  • nope....t-135

  • I was talking about the ones in the video. There are no T-135s heard, just dual toned Allertors and single toned RM-127 (P-15)

  • The northeastern part of the county has T-135's as part of the Point Beach Nuclear plant. But I don't know when they test those!

  • My guess is that they would test them on the same day as the normal test.

  • I have to wait two weeks, they alternate between attack and alert.

  • The next time they test can you record one of the P-15s in attack?
