    You don't explain how light travels.

    What you describe what 'it is' or more accurately how it is currently described when it does travel

    There is NO explanation as to how energy can move thru an empty space !

  • If a candle is lit in pitch black, the human eye can detect it from up to 14 miles away- but thats 1 perspective, observing from a singular direction. Light travels in multiple directions, spherically i believe? so if you were to light a candle and to blow it out after 1sec the amount of particles emitted or the frequency of the wave must be enormous in order to be seen from 14 miles in ANY direction. i dont think light is either particle or wave- but i am a layman and dont have any alternatives

  • @CANNIBoy i think of light as a infintesimally small quatified mass traveling so fast that it's rayleigh wave is big enough to effect it's movement and properties. and you candle theory doesn't really make much impact on it as the size between both aren't much different
