There has been a couple of comments that refer that God is a loving God and that he wont send you to hell. Well, it's true he is a loving God there is no doubt about that but he is also a just and jealous God. To his children he is merciful but those who reject him will feel his wrath. Don't forget Noah's ark, Sodom and Gomorrah, and the Tower of Babel to name a few instances where God's wrath was seen. To those who don't believe in God respect those who do and I pray that God will speak to you.

it actually takes more faith to believe that the universe was created by a big bang than to believe in God. For the entire universe to be created with earth and all that is in it, is equivalent to taking a bunch of coins in your hand, throwing it at random and all the coins landing on the ground in a stack. When you see that there is order in the earth, the sun rises and sets, the winds move in accordance to the seasons, it is evidence that there was and is always a designer and a creator.

Its sad that there are 6 ppl (40 on the last video) that are probably not christians & will go to hell because no one has bothered (or tried hard enough) to make them realize that Jesus is THE way, THE truth, and THE life. @goob00 exactly. We're supposed to share the love of God and His grace. This is how we're supposed to bring people into a relationship with Christ. It's wrong to tell people that they'll go to hell if they don't repent. That'll turn people off. I know this, and I'm sure most know this, cause it'll turn them off too. We have to know that we are sinners as well, not just those who aren't christian or don't believe in God. Befriend those who aren't then when the time comes, share the love of God.

@shardsoffork Because you have to do more than look. You have to know a little about the processes of physics, astronomy, and cosmology. When you know enough about the universe you realize that without a God, it's not only likely that everything would come together this way, but is actually inevitable.

@SnipeZuDown Sorry to butt in. I don't mean to belittle you or anything and I apologize if I offend you but evolution is actually still a theory. There is no proof that evolution is definitely true. Yes I know there are hundreds of fossils or whatever but think about it, out of all those fossils not one is hard evidence for evolution, each fossil only supports a different aspect or another theory of evolution. It's kinda like putting shards of glass together and calling it a real cup.

Secondly there are more than hundreds of fossils, there are observations of it happening (The Ebola virus is a good example) . @SnipeZuDown Actually you do get some evidence that is against evolution. For example a bell was found off the coast of Australia that was completely fossilized, after the name was checked it was determined that the bell was from a ship 150 years ago. We have always been taught that fossilization takes millions of years but here it has only taken a century and a half.

Yes i am sure that this debate will go on forever but that's because there will always be indoctrination in this world. Also some things can be explained (like the age of the earth). I did watch that video and i came to the conclusion that faith is something you believe in, simply because you believe it to be true. Just because a group has faith in their beliefs doesn't mean they should be discredited. Faith, is what helps a person to believe even when the odds are stacked against them. Even you have faith in your beliefs
But they don't, for instance, Einstein believed in Fred Hoyle's Steady State Theory, until Edwin Hubble proved the universe was expanding. I base my beliefs on evidence. All evidence supports evolution, the big bang, and abiogenesis. I don't need faith. Now I can't say 100% sure that there is no god, because I can't prove that with evidence. BUT i can say I think there is no god because evidence makes it seem unlikely.

There is no evidence that 100%proves or disproves evolution just as there is no evidence that 100%proves or disproves God. However each does have their own evidence that supports them. For thousands of years different conclusions have been determined and for thousands of years conclusions have been proven wrong, even the ones that made the most sense. For example people use to believe that the kidneys were the source of all emotion and everybody believed and they would have had evidence to back it up, now we know its not true however.

@SnipeZuDown The people who believed in the god Mithra did precede Jesus' life, but there were no written copies of the stories of Mithra until after Jesus (even more, the idea of resurrection + the stories of Mithra came later as well). And many historians do recognize Jesus Christ as a real human being, unlike Mithra. Copies of the Old Testament have existed way before Mithra, and they speak of a Savior that would come and offer His life.

As far as I know, stories of the resurrection of Mithra idea did not come until after the date of Jesus' death and resurrection. Also, these people who wrote the bible, when they are describing the earth, they did not know the earth was round or that it moved. No one knew for a long time.
@SnipeZuDown Deuteronomy 25:5 and Leviticus 20:21 do not contradict each other. They cover 2 different issues. Leviticus 20:10-21 is talking about sexual immorality. When we come to verse 21, the writer is saying a person should not take his brother's wife and commit adultery. It is a different matter when the husband has died. In Deuteronomy, Moses is giving instruction on what should be done when a woman has lost her husband.

There has been a couple of comments that refer that God is a loving God and that he wont send you to hell. Well, it's true he is a loving God there is no doubt about that but he is also a just and jealous God. To his children he is merciful but those who reject him will feel his wrath. Don't forget Noah's ark, Sodom and Gomorrah, and the Tower of Babel to name a few instances where God's wrath was seen. To those who don't believe in God respect those who do and I pray that God will speak to you.

it actually takes more faith to believe that the universe was created by a big bang than to believe in God. For the entire universe to be created with earth and all that is in it, is equivalent to taking a bunch of coins in your hand, throwing it at random and all the coins landing on the ground in a stack. When you see that there is order in the earth, the sun rises and sets, the winds move in accordance to the seasons, it is evidence that there was and is always a designer and a creator.

@goob00 exactly. We're supposed to share the love of God and His grace. This is how we're supposed to bring people into a relationship with Christ. It's wrong to tell people that they'll go to hell if they don't repent. That'll turn people off. I know this, and I'm sure most know this, cause it'll turn them off too. We have to know that we are sinners as well, not just those who aren't christian or don't believe in God. Befriend those who aren't then when the time comes, share the love of God.

When you know enough about the universe you realize that without a God, it's not only likely that everything would come together this way, but is actually inevitable.

@andreas841508 It is indeed impossible to look up to the skies at night and see the beauty and wonder and not to think that something greater than us must have made all this. It is the mark of highly educated people to realize that that thing that is so much greater than us isn't necessarily a god, but is most likely the works of the laws of physics. Everything "just happened to come together" because it was inevitable due to the laws of physics, not because we got lucky.

The Law of Moses says, that if two or three people agree on something, it's true. The apostles could have met up to make it in orderly, scientific way, but it'd would not be the ultimate truth, cuz of the teachings of the Law. Word.

The concept of deities was contrived by humans, yes. There is no psychological problem theism cannot address. Sometimes, it helps these problems (give bravery), but in the end theism is false and the delusion causes more harm than good. This is why theism historically has opposed science.

If science is true, the Genesis account contains more falsehood than truth, and Revelations is complete nonsense. These two bookend the rest of the Bible, so if they are untrue, what can we expect from the rest of the books?

In Genesis there is creationism, the worldwide flood, the dissemination of language through a single event, and several examples of hardcore inbreeding by humans. All of these conflict with modern scientific knowledge.
In Revelations, there is less because it is the scene of a vision. However, in some verses (e.g. 6:13 & 9:1) John suggests that stars are simply points of light in the sky. Stars would not "fall to earth" so much as the earth would be swallowed in the star.

I have always wondered why people would make negative comments on Christians videos, because I would never to an atheist video. Why? because I wouldn't be watching or listening to one. But then I realized that people are in search of the TRUTH even if they don't want to admit it. I am praying right now in the name of Jesus that you find the only Truth and that is in HIM. God Bless.

I agree that you shouldn't live your life in a lie and if the Bible were merely stories then you should have nothing to do with it. But it isn't. True Christianity isn't about rules and hoops to jump through any more than being a Christian isn't about going to church and pretending all is well. True faith is about a relationship with Jesus. That is hope and joy.

Jus be careful about saying "correct over all other religions" cos it generally rubs the other-religion-people the wrong way, which doesn't really help our fight much. Show them how awesome the love and grace of Jesus is and they'll figure out for themselves that it really is better than anything on earth (or elsewhere for that matter). But its so awesome to see other people fighting the fight. Keep it up :)

Science, rather than disprove the existance of God actually magnifies his glory and power and the proof of his existance. just look it up...you will take a complete different look at evolution.

@SnipeZuDown Sorry to butt in. I don't mean to belittle you or anything and I apologize if I offend you but evolution is actually still a theory. There is no proof that evolution is definitely true. Yes I know there are hundreds of fossils or whatever but think about it, out of all those fossils not one is hard evidence for evolution, each fossil only supports a different aspect or another theory of evolution. It's kinda like putting shards of glass together and calling it a real cup.

The scientific word theory means hypothesis with tons of evidence for it and no evidence contradicting it. Secondly there are more than hundreds of fossils, there are observations of it happening (The Ebola virus is a good example) . For an example of so-called "Macro Evolution" Google the peppered moth evolution.

For example a bell was found off the coast of Australia that was completely fossilized, after the name was checked it was determined that the bell was from a ship 150 years ago. We have always been taught that fossilization takes millions of years but here it has only taken a century and a half.

I did watch that video and i came to the conclusion that faith is something you believe in, simply because you believe it to be true. All evidence supports evolution, the big bang, and abiogenesis. I don't need faith. Now I can't say 100% sure that there is no god, because I can't prove that with evidence. BUT i can say I think there is no god because evidence makes it seem unlikely.

There is no evidence that 100%proves or disproves evolution just as there is no evidence that 100%proves or disproves God. However each does have their own evidence that supports them. You say you have no faith yet you tell me that you don't believe in God because of the evidence you have looked at and yet there is also evidence for God.

For thousands of years different conclusions have been determined and for thousands of years conclusions have been proven wrong, even the ones that made the most sense. For example people use to believe that the kidneys were the source of all emotion and everybody believed and they would have had evidence to back it up, now we know its not true however.

But If you must know I do think know the bible is wrong because it makes MANY contradictions, the story of Jesus isn't original, The bible gets history wrong, It says that the earth doesn't move and is flat. Also Evolution, Abiogenesis, The Big Bang, and many other, well reasoned scientific theories contradict the claims of the bible.

Also it doesn't matter if some good scientists think it's wrong it matters what evidence supports it. That's like saying if a smarter person than you believes the earth is flat he's right.

@SnipeZuDown The people who believed in the god Mithra did precede Jesus' life, but there were no written copies of the stories of Mithra until after Jesus (even more, the idea of resurrection + the stories of Mithra came later as well). And many historians do recognize Jesus Christ as a real human being, unlike Mithra. Copies of the Old Testament have existed way before Mithra, and they speak of a Savior that would come and offer His life.

@SnipeZuDown Mithraic scholars don't believe the thesis that Christianity borrowed anything philosophically from Mithraism. Art and artwork, yes, but philosophy, no. As far as I know, stories of the resurrection of Mithra idea did not come until after the date of Jesus' death and resurrection. Also, these people who wrote the bible, when they are describing the earth, they did not know the earth was round or that it moved. No one knew for a long time.

@SnipeZuDown Deuteronomy 25:5 and Leviticus 20:21 do not contradict each other. They cover 2 different issues. Leviticus 20:10-21 is talking about sexual immorality. When we come to verse 21, the writer is saying a person should not take his brother's wife and commit adultery. It is a different matter when the husband has died. In Deuteronomy, Moses is giving instruction on what should be done when a woman has lost her husband.
