The memories of watching this in junior high were epic. The antagonist Dr. Elliot and his nappy afro always had me laughing my ass off. And Dr. Alex reminds me of a grown Beavis for some reason.

The spider limbed fellow was my favorite out of the group especially when they explored his bg on Season 2.

No not yet but it was released on VHS way back. Unfortunately instead of the stand alone episodes it was all edited together as one long film.

They did the same with THE HEAD too. Both are still well worth pursuing! I don't see MTV releasing these two great series anytime soon... Look how long it took Aeon Flux to be released to DVD!!! O_O

I used to Love Watching The Head.anyone remember the episode where jim and some other people are like on a scavenger hunt or something and jim Goes"hey can i look at the Map " and some other dude say s"Its Not a Map its a Chart!" kinda like a runing gag in that episode.lol.Looks alot lke the Animation thats being done on Cartoon Network's "SUPERJAIL" maybe they got the inspiration from The Head MAXX Aeon FLux and all the other MTV ODDETIES.

I think really what happened...you grew up. MTV is and always has been a marketing tool...it has turned music into a fashion/model show instead of art. That is, if you're good looking, you are marketable...if you're ugly, you have to have some kind of crazy look to make it.

I like a lot of new music, and having heard it, I see that bands on the level of Soundgarden or Jane's Addiction no longer have a place there as they used to. A new generation means new marketing, but also, it seems, a new definition of talent. It isn't mine, but what I see as talent, is still very much alive.
