Gonzalez said in an interview that he never learned about music, that he just composed songs until his ears felt they sounded right. It reminds me of myself since that's the way I am when I compose music, though I'm nowhere near as good as him. Vastly underrated composer, but definitely not in this list !

Seriously, why couldn't they put the same love and charm they did with the Winnie the Pooh film? It seems that many good 2D cartoons that go to 3D always seem to turn out bad.

@SupraDarky Hi Supra I think that you have a sort of straw-man view of "educated" composers. Every composer uses their ears whether they've studied harmony/theory/counter point or not. There's no magic formula that makes something sound good or not. Composers create their own sound world and no matter if they constructed it using a tone-row or traditional harmony, it all boils down to your ear. It's important to make your ear as good as possible by learning the classical literature and listening
