All he ever wanted was to make the world a better place from the evil demos who invaded his home... killed his mother,framed his father and corrupted his brother... all he loved taken away from him by lies and unjust faith... @brynerj he was framed for the murder of his wife. In game dmc3 they explain that Sparda killed his wife for "ultimate" power. But in -dmc1 and 2- Dante slowly realizes his father was not the cause of his mothers death and in mvc Dante's bio states his family was attacked by demons but says nothing of his father being the killer of his own lover.

@souleater4242564kodd Let's say that. Dante helped Nero for many reasons. I think personally as a fan to the saga the main reason was for him too be his future successor. I think part of that theory is mostly because when Dante talked to Nero it was more like a Master too a Student then just some guy here to help. But all does ideas have gone to dust for me :/ The new Dmc is just capcom showing how angry it is with the original video game designer leaving a long time ago.

@dantegx8 Actually. Story-wise, the new Dante was when he was rather young. It ties-in to DMC3, which was the "beginning" of the game. Dante was said to have changed his hair color to look more human, and tried to hide the fact that he was part demon, because of what happened to his family. They're just finally filling in parts of the story that NEEDED to be filled in.

@SuP3rNo0l3 well capcom confirmed it is a reboot of the saga entirely. So much so that in e3 they explained that this Dante is a "New Dante" But we will see. If it is that way then I would like the game a little more even do his face is all wrong but if it leads to a future fix then great..... But capcom has not been going to the fan wise opinion since the megaman cancellations and not putting him in Ultimate MvsC3. And the 3ds resident evil un erasable save data. :/

@BlackLightZero The amulet is the first half a the full project used to close the demon world. The Bracelet of time and the Yamato blade are the other 2. But the importance of the amulet per say is more of an emotional bond between Dante and Vergil. Even do it has extreme power Dante and Vergil's amulet pieces both represent half of each others emotional back story and what memory they hold most: Dante's amulet piece is a representation of his mother and Vergil his father's.
