At the least if you want don't want to focus on one set of skills use the Lover it's not as fast but it's still better than nothing.

how did you not fint the mage, thief, and warrior stones at the very beginning of the game next to the starting town?

@under20over40 I had to look it up for my 2nd character but it's possible to completely bypass it.
