  • God Damn, det er fedt....har LP´en uden cover!!!

Optagelsen her er fra Nyborg så vidt som jeg er

fortalt af een, der var der...

  • Culpepper's Orchard played after them, I think.

  • moron cant sing, bunch of imbeciles here

  • @BetterTasteThanU I think there's much worst ...you're not very nice :(

  • what event is this

  • Runhild must have quit. Where's Stephen o'malley??

  • That's hilarious. I clicked on this from "Norge" expecting her, too. LOL

  • : )

  • Thors hammer er et gammelt dansk band fra 60-70 erne som spillede psykadelisk rock lig Alrune rod spillede meget på fristaden i 70 erne

  • Does anyone know the title of this song? It's not one of the songs released on their only album from 1971. Is this their original composition or a cover?

  • @1985MarcinM did you ever find ot the name of the song Thorr's Hammer is playing (covering) here?

  • hm... lol

i hope its not THE thors hammer from poland xD

  • Soooo far off lol

  • There are several bands of this name but none of them are related. However, I would like to learn something about the band from this video. The music is quite good.

  • Haha definitely not... The band from Poland is dark and evil, i wonder if Capricornus still makes music.

  • The Polish band spell their name as "Thor's Hammer", not "Thors Hammer" (this is indeed the spelling the Danish band used). If you want to hear more of the Danish Thors Hammer, check out the channel of the user Anirml. He has the whole album of this band (actually the only one they released) and some other excellent stuff from Denmark and other countries as well.

  • no it isn't..

  • scandinavian god wannabes xD

  • they've got another release of early material on big beat of their stuff from '66 & '67...definitely worth investigating

  • I really don't think they existed before 1969/70?

  • you need to check out the 2001 release on big beat..."from keflavik with love" with their recordings from 1965 and forward..worth investigating...all their influences hanging out all over the place

  • I don't think it is the same band?

  • hmm..you may be right..tho both discs i have are lacking in info, the early one says they survived till '69, then mutated into a different band. the later one has band member names, but no dates

  • I think you mean the Icelandic band Hljómar, who were also known as Thor's Hammer. You can find here one of their songs called Bláu augun þín (Your blue eyes).

  • damn i love this

  • Monster love this song!

  • Does the drummer have a fake mustache? at 0.44 hehehe. Can i get these guys on vinyl somewhere? Was it a private press or is it on a label?

  • Its very expensive, around 800€ in Mint condition, there are bootlegs around. as alrunen says it´s on the Metronome label.

  • Are these the same guys who recorded "Better Days" and "My Life"? Those are absolutely killer songs.

  • No. Their only lp (1971, Metronome) included Mexico/Not Worth Saying/Blind Gypsy Woman/Believe In What You Want/Evasive Dreams Beyond. Still killer...

  • where is this recorded ??

  • Thylejren?

  • Fyn

  • @tmhj2813 er det fra midtfyns eller ? :)

  • Nyborg Festivalen. Juli 23-25, 1971...

  • @dayofphoenix : Nyborg Festivalen 1971.
