@NgocBaoLong He's right though. President Thieu completely failed in setting up an effective defensive plan for South Vietnam in 1975, including contradicting his own orders several times. The economic and military aid situation was dreadful, but he didn't even work well with what he had. So he ran away with tonnes of gold.
