im going to say that the arkells are going to turn into a dance band. by that i mean try and make their songs catchier and catchier. you can already hear it in the new songs they play live even when max introduces it as "a summer song".

this breaks my heart, because they have potential to be an honest band with solid r & b induced tunes.

@rentashoo Thanks for your insightful reply, but at the risk of repeating myself (see comment for "The Boss Is Comin'), this is a band of pretty good musicians doing not-terribly-interesting party tunes with rather dumb and pointless lyrics. It always pains me to hear decent musicians doing pretty dreadful material. Not only are they not anywhere near as good as The Constantines, I dare say that even Counting Crows were better (and yes, they do sound similar to both bands at points)...

Just 20 years ago, the Venezuelan people was killed by hundres, during the Caracazo, becuase they were taken the food that was denied to them. That is never the case again under Chavez's rule.
